Accuracy and response time will be recorded.\n\nMotor Imagery:\n\nParticipants will mentally rehearse ankle movements such as dorsiflexion, plantarflexion, inversion, and eversion without performing the motion. Imagery tasks will progress from simple movements to functional patterns based on tolerance.\n\nMirror Therapy:\n\nA mirror will be placed in the midsagittal plane, allowing participants to view the reflection of the non-affected ankle while performing movements. The visual illusion of normal movement is intended to improve motor control and proprioception.",[15,9],[24],{"name":25,"affiliation":26,"role":27},"SEZEN KARABÖRKLÜ ARGUT, Assistant Professor, PhD","Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Faculty of Health Sciences","STUDY_DIRECTOR",[29],{"name":30,"role":31,"phone":32,"phoneExt":11,"email":33},"SEDA ATEŞ, Bachelor degree","CONTACT","90+ 5388543087","seda.ates@ogr.iuc.edu.tr",[35],{"facility":36,"status":37,"city":38,"state":11,"zip":11,"country":39,"countryCode":11,"cosmosGeoPoint":40,"geoPoint":45,"contacts":11},"İstanbul Üniversitesi-Cerrahpaşa","RECRUITING","Istanbul","Turkey (Türkiye)",{"type":41,"coordinates":42},"Point",[43,44],28.94966,41.01384,{"lat":44,"lon":43},{"type":47,"investigatorFullName":48,"investigatorTitle":49,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":11,"oldOrganization":11},"PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR","Seda Ateş","physiotherapist","100621922","acute-effect-of-graded-motor-imagery-on-ankle-rehabilitation-a-pilot-study-100621922",false,"NCT07376915","Acute Effect of Graded Motor Imagery on Ankle Rehabilitation: A Pilot Study","The Acute Effect of Graded Motor Imagery-Based Mental Preparation on Ankle Rehabilitation: A Pilot Clinical Study","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Aged between 18 and 40 years.\n* Diagnosed with chronic ankle instability (CAIT ≤ 24).\n* History of an acute ankle sprain occurring more than 3 months prior to enrollment.\n* Has not received ankle rehabilitation treatment.\n* Voluntarily participated in this study\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Vestibular or neurological disorders\n* Other lower extremity injuries\n* History of surgery","ALL","18 Years","40 Years",{"count":61,"type":62},48,"ESTIMATED","INTERVENTIONAL",[65],"NA","The primary aim of this study is to evaluate the immediate and short-term effects of the Graded Motor Imagery (GMI) method on individuals with chronic ankle instability (CAI).
