Four electrodes are used per measurement. All subjects get electrodes attached, following the wrist-ankle approach, in a tetrapolar arrangement. Two electrodes are placed on the hand: one on the wrist, and the second on the dorsal side of the metacarpalia, close to the phalanges. The other two electrodes are placed on the foot: one on the ankle, and the second on the dorsal side of the metatarsals, close to the phalanges of the toes. Age, gender, height, weight and blood pressure are registered in the device before starting the measurement. If the quality calculated by BCM is \\\u003C 60%, the measurement will be repeated again. Measurements are taken under supervision of a trained technician or nurse.",[9],null,[21],{"name":22,"affiliation":5,"role":23},"Vera Saldien, MD,PhD","PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR",[25,31],{"name":26,"role":27,"phone":28,"phoneExt":29,"email":30},"Vera Saldien, MD, PhD","CONTACT","38214788","0032","vera.saldien@uza.be",{"name":32,"role":27,"phone":33,"phoneExt":29,"email":34},"Joke De Wachter","38213042","joke.dewachter@uza.be",[36],{"facility":37,"status":38,"city":39,"state":40,"zip":41,"country":42,"countryCode":43,"cosmosGeoPoint":44,"geoPoint":49,"contacts":50},"Antwerp University Hospital","RECRUITING","Edegem","Antwerp","2650","Belgium","BE",{"type":45,"coordinates":46},"Point",[47,48],4.44504,51.15662,{"lat":48,"lon":47},[51,52],{"name":26,"role":27,"phone":28,"phoneExt":29,"email":30},{"name":32,"role":27,"phone":33,"phoneExt":29,"email":34},{"type":23,"investigatorFullName":54,"investigatorTitle":55,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":19,"oldOrganization":19},"Vera Saldien","Principal Investigator","100456216","bio-impedance-monitoring-as-a-tool-to-assess-fluid-status-in-the-pediatric-surgical-patient-pedfluid-study-100456216",false,"NCT05220709","Bio Impedance Monitoring as a Tool to Assess Fluid Status in the Pediatric Surgical Patient?
