Application","Veris Health offers at-home devices to monitor multiple physiological parameters, including temperature, heart rate, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, weight, and activity (step count). Patients are provided with a home cellular hub that is already paired to peripheral devices via Bluetooth. The hub communicates with all devices and the local cellular network out-of-the-box, and data is automatically sent via cellular network to the Veris Health backend database, making it easy for patients to use the system. Patients are responsible for taking their vital sign measurements daily. The devices automatically send the measurement data to the Veris Health HIPAA compliant, secure cloud server via the preconnected cellular hub.",[9],[21],{"name":22,"role":23,"phone":24,"phoneExt":10,"email":25},"Brian deGuzman MD COO","CONTACT","917-813-1828","bjd@verishealth.com",[27],{"facility":28,"status":10,"city":29,"state":30,"zip":31,"country":32,"countryCode":33,"cosmosGeoPoint":34,"geoPoint":39,"contacts":40},"The Ohio State University","Columbus","Ohio","43210","United States","US",{"type":35,"coordinates":36},"Point",[37,38],-82.99879,39.96118,{"lat":38,"lon":37},[41],{"name":42,"role":23,"phone":43,"phoneExt":10,"email":44},"Raquel Reinbolt MD","614-293-8054","Raquel.Reinbolt@osumc.edu",{"type":46,"investigatorFullName":10,"investigatorTitle":10,"investigatorAffiliation":10,"oldNameTitle":10,"oldOrganization":10},"SPONSOR",[48,51],{"name":49,"class":50},"National Institutes of Health (NIH)","NIH",{"name":52,"class":50},"National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD)","100623394","bridging-the-gap-enhancing-cancer-care-for-underserved-populations-with-the-veris-health-cancer-care-platform-100623394",false,"NCT07396064","Bridging the Gap: Enhancing Cancer Care for Underserved Populations With the Veris Health Cancer Care Platform","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Adults \\> 18 years old\n* Diagnosis of cancer\n* ECOG Performance Status of 0-2\n* Undergoing or initiating systemic anticancer therapy\n* Able to utilize and interact with a mobile application and in-home devices for physiological monitoring. The Veris Health platform is a remote patient monitoring and communication system designed to bridge the gap between clinical visits and provide oncology care teams with objective data during high-risk periods.\n\nThis study will specifically focus on optimizing the Veris Health platform for patients with language barriers, limited access to technology, and socioeconomic disparities. By incorporating user-centered design and working closely with community health centers, the research team will ensure that the platform is culturally and linguistically appropriate, easy to use, and accessible for all patients.\n\nThe study will use a mixed-methods approach to validate the effectiveness of the optimized platform, including quantitative data analysis and qualitative interviews with patients and healthcare providers. The goal is to demonstrate the potential for the Veris Health platform to improve outcomes for vulnerable populations by reducing hospitalizations, emergency department visits, and the economic burden of cancer care.",[68,69],"Cancer Care Recipient","Observational Study","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-02-03",{"date":73,"type":74},"2026-02-09","ACTUAL",{"date":76,"type":63},"2026-02-16",{"date":78,"type":63},"2026-06-30",{"name":80,"class":6},"VERIS HEALTH INC",1]
