The patients' medications will be managed in keeping with the usual clinical practice and departmental guidelines.\n\nAt rest and on each graded level of dobutamine infusion we will collect cine loops of the cardiac cycle including a short-axis stack of the ventricles, a four-chamber view and flow imaging perpendicular to the main, left and right pulmonary arteries.\n\nPost-processing will be dual reported by blinded observers using the Argus analysis software (Siemens) according to a standardised protocol. A safety report of each CMR scan will be generated by a consultant cardiologist, any abnormalities identified will be referred to the appropriate medical speciality and highlighted to the patient's clinical team.",[9],{"type":24,"name":29,"description":30,"armGroupLabels":31,"otherNames":10},"Cardiac biomarker sample","blood samples will be collected pre-operatively, in recovery, on post-operative days 1 and 2, and at 4-8 weeks post-operatively",[20,9,16],[33,38],{"name":34,"role":35,"phone":36,"phoneExt":10,"email":37},"Adam Glass","CONTACT","+442890976378","a.glass@qub.ac.uk",{"name":39,"role":35,"phone":10,"phoneExt":10,"email":40},"Jon Silversides","j.silversides@qub.ac.uk",[42],{"facility":5,"status":43,"city":44,"state":45,"zip":46,"country":47,"countryCode":48,"cosmosGeoPoint":49,"geoPoint":54,"contacts":55},"RECRUITING","Belfast","Northern Ireland","BT12 6BA","United Kingdom","UK",{"type":50,"coordinates":51},"Point",[52,53],-5.92541,54.59682,{"lat":53,"lon":52},[56,59,60,62],{"name":39,"role":35,"phone":57,"phoneExt":10,"email":58},"02895041096","jon.silversides@belfasttrust.hscni.net",{"name":34,"role":35,"phone":10,"phoneExt":10,"email":10},{"name":61,"role":35,"phone":10,"phoneExt":10,"email":10},"Danny McAuley",{"name":39,"role":35,"phone":10,"phoneExt":10,"email":10},{"type":64,"investigatorFullName":10,"investigatorTitle":10,"investigatorAffiliation":10,"oldNameTitle":10,"oldOrganization":10},"SPONSOR","100551837","cmr-right-ventricular-contractile-reserve-following-lung-resection-100551837",false,"NCT06465277","CMR Right Ventricular Contractile Reserve Following Lung Resection","Assessment of Right Ventricular Contractile Reserve Following Lung Resection by Dobutamine Stress Cardiac Magnetic Resonance: a Feasibility Study","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* 1\\) Provision of informed consent 2) Age \\>16 years 3) Planned elective\n\n 1. lobectomy lung resection or\n 2. oesophagectomy surgery with one lung ventilation or\n 3. gastrectomy\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n1.
