It is also known as PMRT. (39) JPRT was applied three times a week from the estimated date of ovulation to the onset of the next menstruation. . The participants were in a supine position and were supported with cushions. The JPRT involves participants actively contracting muscles to create tension and then progressively releasing them. First of all, the participants were asked to contract the muscles tightly and hold for slow count of 5seconds (s) and then relax them completely for 10 s. At the same time, the participants practiced diaphragmatic breathing. The participants repeatedly performed JPMRT for each body part. Each session lasted about 20-30 min.",[15],[30],"Aerobic exercises and hypopressive",[32],{"name":33,"affiliation":5,"role":34},"Hafiza Iqra Rubab, MSWHPT","PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR",[36],{"name":37,"role":38,"phone":39,"phoneExt":24,"email":40},"Imran Amjad, PhD","CONTACT","03324390125","imran.amjad@riphah.edu.pk",[42],{"facility":43,"status":44,"city":45,"state":46,"zip":47,"country":48,"countryCode":49,"cosmosGeoPoint":24,"geoPoint":24,"contacts":50},"Superior college for women and Polytechnic institute","RECRUITING","Okāra","Punjab Province","52513","Pakistan","PK",[51],{"name":52,"role":34,"phone":24,"phoneExt":24,"email":24},"Aansa Manzoor, MSWHPT",{"type":54,"investigatorFullName":24,"investigatorTitle":24,"investigatorAffiliation":24,"oldNameTitle":24,"oldOrganization":24},"SPONSOR","100639157","comparative-effects-of-aerobic-exercises-and-jacobsons-progressive-relaxation-technique-in-primary-dysmenorrhea-100639157",false,"NCT07628452","Comparative Effects of Aerobic Exercises and Jacobson's Progressive Relaxation Technique in Primary Dysmenorrhea","Comparative Effects of Aerobic Exercises and Jacobson's Progressive Relaxation Technique on Pain, Fatigue and Quality of Life in Primary Dysmenorrhea","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Pain on numeric rating pain scale,\n* Menarche range 12-16,\n* BMI less than 30,\n* Having a regular menstrual cycle (28-32) days,\n* Normal bleeding days (3 to 1) and diagnosed with mild PD according to WaLiDD score\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Athletes,\n* married women with gynaecological abnormalities were excluded,\n* Medical treatment during the study (e.g., oral contraceptives, antidepressants)\n* Recent musculoskeletal trauma or surgery, or chronic musculoskeletal disorders\n* affecting pain perception (e.g., fibromyalgia, pelvic floor dysfunction)\n* secondary dysmenorrhea-related conditions (e.g., endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts),\n* consumption of painkillers\n* No mental or physical diseases, which reduce the abilities to exercise","FEMALE","17 Years","24 Years",{"count":66,"type":67},58,"ESTIMATED","INTERVENTIONAL",[70],"NA","The study will focus on the comparative effects of aerobic exercises and Jacobson's progressive relaxation technique on pain, fatigue and quality of life in primary dysmenorrhea.\n\nThis study will be a randomized clinical trial and will be conducted in, Superior college depalpur and Army public schools and college Lahore (APSACS).
