Using an established framework for tracking daily body weight and physical activity, a gestational weight gain trajectory is estimated. Based on the data, recommendation prompts for exercise and diet will be discussed with participants during motivational interviewing. For the CGM piece, participants will wear unblinded CGM devices and have access to CGM linked app features that allow insights and reactivity to personal glycemic data",[9],null,[22],{"name":23,"affiliation":24,"role":25},"Lisa T Jansen, PhD","Arkansas Children's Hospital Research Institute; University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences","PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR",[27,31],{"name":23,"role":28,"phone":29,"phoneExt":20,"email":30},"CONTACT","5013646516","ltjansen@uams.edu",{"name":32,"role":28,"phone":33,"phoneExt":20,"email":34},"Sharon E Sanders, PhD, MPH, CHES","501-364-5118","SESanders@uams.edu",{"type":25,"investigatorFullName":36,"investigatorTitle":37,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":20,"oldOrganization":20},"Lisa Jansen","Assistant Professor",[39],{"name":40,"class":41},"National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS)","NIH","100567289","continuous-glucose-and-e-monitoring-to-support-healthy-weight-gain-in-pregnancies---the-gem-study-100567289",false,"NCT06666257","Continuous Glucose and E-Monitoring to Support Healthy Weight Gain in Pregnancies - The GEM Study","GEM","The formative phase (Phase I), classified as exempt by the institutional review board will seek participation from individuals meeting the following criteria:\n\n1. Twelve to sixteen participants will receive weekly virtual motivational interview sessions with trained health coaches, review their daily weight data, step count, and continuous glucose monitoring data, and tailored guidance on physical activity and nutrition.
