Patients commonly applied high dose of intravenous steroid treatment in the acute phase, which usually referred to intravenous administration of 1g or 500mg of glucocorticoid daily for 3 consecutive days and reduced by half every 3 days. In addition, plasma exchange and immunoabsorption are also optional treatment for the acute phase.
