This objective, overnight recording captures simultaneous physiological data channels, including electroencephalography (EEG) to stage sleep, electrooculography (EOG) to detect eye movements, electromyography (EMG) to measure muscle tone, electrocardiography (ECG) for heart rhythm, respiratory effort (via thoracic and abdominal belts), nasal airflow, and pulse oximetry for blood oxygen saturation. As the primary\u002Fsecondary outcome measure, PSG will be administered to quantitatively evaluate the intervention's effect on key sleep parameters such as total sleep time (TST), sleep efficiency (SE), wake after sleep onset (WASO), latency to sleep onset, and the frequency of sleep-disordered breathing events (e.g., Apnea-Hypopnea Index, AHI) or periodic limb movements.",[9],[21],{"name":22,"affiliation":5,"role":23},"Eman Ahmed Abd Elhamed, Resident","PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR",[25,29],{"name":22,"role":26,"phone":27,"phoneExt":10,"email":28},"CONTACT","+21010363485","Eman.17289775@med.aun.edu.eg",{"name":30,"role":26,"phone":31,"phoneExt":10,"email":32},"Waleed Gamal Elddin, ass. prof","+21006519722","waleedgamalddin@yahoo.com",[34],{"facility":35,"status":10,"city":36,"state":37,"zip":38,"country":39,"countryCode":40,"cosmosGeoPoint":41,"geoPoint":46,"contacts":47},"Assiut University hospital","Asyut","Asyut Governorate","71515","Egypt","EG",{"type":42,"coordinates":43},"Point",[44,45],31.18368,27.18096,{"lat":45,"lon":44},[48,49,52,54,56],{"name":22,"role":26,"phone":27,"phoneExt":10,"email":28},{"name":50,"role":26,"phone":31,"phoneExt":10,"email":51},"Waleed Gamal Elddin, Ass. Fatigue, non-restorative sleep, and poor sleep quality are frequently reported among patients with SSc, yet these symptoms remain under-recognized and under-investigated in clinical practice. Despite growing awareness of the burden of sleep-related symptoms, there is a significant lack of objective data regarding sleep disturbances in this population, particularly those assessed using polysomnography (PSG).",[75,76],"Systemic Sclerosis","Sleep-Disordered Breathing",[78,79,80],"systemic sclerosis","Sleep Apnea","Insomnia","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2025-09-12",{"date":84,"type":85},"2025-09-16","ACTUAL",{"date":87,"type":71},"2025-09-20",{"date":89,"type":71},"2026-10-01",{"name":5,"class":6},1]
