Experimental studies have suggested a causal link between CKD, relative kynurenine deficiency during pregnancy, and preeclampsia development. Kynurenine, a tryptophan metabolite, plays a central role at the materno-fetal interface, supporting placental energy production, maternal-fetal immune tolerance, and placental perfusion. This study will prospectively assess and compare longitudinal kynurenine concentrations in pregnant women with and without CKD, and evaluate their associations with maternal and fetal outcomes.",[62,63,64],"Chronic Kidney Diseases","Pregnancy","Preeclampsia",[66,67,68,69,70,71],"kidney disease","pregnancy","preeclampsia","kynurenine","maternal outcomes","fetal outcomes","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-02-09",{"date":75,"type":76},"2026-02-17","ACTUAL",{"date":78,"type":56},"2026-03",{"date":80,"type":56},"2029-05",{"name":5,"class":6},1]
