Cavity outline will be performed by sterile #330 high speed bur using water spray. Caries will be removed by large spoon excavator. When pulpal exposure occurred, the roof of pulp chamber will be removed by low speed round bur. Haemostasis will be obtained by applying pressure with a moist cotton pellet with saline. A photo-simulated phosphorus plate sensor was used to take direct standardized digital radiographs. The parallel periapical technique was obtained by Rinn, which is attached to the X-ray tube with its arm fastened to the film holder that contained a coated PSP (photo-stimulated phosphorus plate). To ensure standardization during radiographic film retakes, condensation rubber base impression material will be positioned on the outside of the film holder, and the child is told to bite on it while the material is set. The sensor wil exposed to an X-ray machine (Planmeca ProX, Helsinki, Finland) with a central ray perpendicular to the sensor at 70 kVp, 6 mA, and 0.8 s. Radio-densitometric and radiometric analysis of the radiographs will be performed by RadiAnt software.",[9,16],[32],{"name":33,"affiliation":34,"role":35},"shimaa Hadwa","shimaa.hadwa@dent.tanta.edu.eg","PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR",[37,42],{"name":38,"role":39,"phone":40,"phoneExt":26,"email":41},"shaimaa eldesouky, assistant professor","CONTACT","+201008994242","shaimaaeldesouky@dent.tanta.edu.eg",{"name":43,"role":39,"phone":44,"phoneExt":26,"email":45},"nora Abo Shanady, lecturer","01091230999","nora_aboshanady@dent.tanta.edu.eg",[47],{"facility":48,"status":26,"city":49,"state":26,"zip":26,"country":50,"countryCode":51,"cosmosGeoPoint":52,"geoPoint":57,"contacts":58},"faculty of dentistry, Tanta university","Tanta","Egypt","EG",{"type":53,"coordinates":54},"Point",[55,56],31.00192,30.78847,{"lat":56,"lon":55},[59],{"name":38,"role":39,"phone":60,"phoneExt":26,"email":41},"01008994242",{"type":35,"investigatorFullName":62,"investigatorTitle":63,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":26,"oldOrganization":26},"Shaimaa Shaban Mohamed El-desouky","assistant professor of pediatric dentistry","100622692","pelargonium-graveolens-essential-oil-as-a-pulpotomy-agent-in-primary-teeth-100622692",false,"NCT07386925","Pelargonium Graveolens Essential Oil as a Pulpotomy Agent in Primary Teeth","Clinical and Radiographic Evaluation of Pelargonium Graveolens Essential Oil as a Pulpotomy Agent in Primary Teeth","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Restorable primary molars with deep carious lesions.\n* Absence of gingival swelling or sinus tract.\n* Absence of spontaneous pain\n* Absence of pain on percussion.\n* Absence of discontinuity of lamina dura\n* Absence of internal root resorption.\n* Absence of external root resorption.\n* Absence of inter-radicular or periapical bone destruction (radiolucency).\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* presence of spontaneous pain\n* presence of gingival swelling or sinus tract\n* presence of internal or external root resorption\n* pain on percussion.","ALL","4 Years","7 Years",{"count":75,"type":76},30,"ESTIMATED","INTERVENTIONAL",[79],"NA","The success of pulpotomy in primary teeth is critical for preserving function and arch integrity in children and depends largely on the biological properties of the medicament used.
