For periodontal granulation tissue preservation group, the soft tissues covering the alveolar crest will be prepared. A third incision will separate the pocket epithelium from the soft tissue (granulation tissue) attached to the bone. The pocket epithelium will be removed. The root surfaces will be carefully scaled and planed in both groups. Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (24%) will be applied to the root surfaces and removed after 2 minutes with abundant saline solution. In the experimental group, the preserved attached soft tissue and the space between it and the root surface will be irrigated with 10% polyvinylpyrrolidone-iodine. Finally, the flaps will be positioned and sutured.",[9,15],null,[27,32],{"name":28,"role":29,"phone":30,"phoneExt":25,"email":31},"Antonio J Ortiz-Ruiz, MD","CONTACT","+34 868888581","ajortiz@um.es",{"name":33,"role":29,"phone":34,"phoneExt":25,"email":35},"José A Moreno-Rodríguez, DDS","+34 620538483","joseantonio171087@hotmail.com",[37],{"facility":38,"status":39,"city":40,"state":25,"zip":41,"country":42,"countryCode":43,"cosmosGeoPoint":44,"geoPoint":49,"contacts":50},"Centro Odontologico Del Sureste Slp","RECRUITING","Murcia","30007","Spain","ES",{"type":45,"coordinates":46},"Point",[47,48],-1.13004,37.98704,{"lat":48,"lon":47},[51,52],{"name":28,"role":29,"phone":30,"phoneExt":25,"email":31},{"name":53,"role":29,"phone":34,"phoneExt":25,"email":35},"Jose A Moreno-Rodriguez",{"type":55,"investigatorFullName":56,"investigatorTitle":57,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":25,"oldOrganization":25},"PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR","Antonio José Ortiz Ruiz, MD","Professor and researcher","100480249","periodontal-granulation-tissue-preservation-in-surgical-periodontitis-treatment-100480249",false,"NCT05533528","Periodontal Granulation Tissue Preservation in Surgical Periodontitis Treatment","Periodontal Granulation Tissue Preservation in Surgical Periodontal Disease Treatment.
