It integrates evidence-based CBT for substance use and depression with principles of psychedelic-assisted therapy, including \"set and setting.\" considerations central to psychedelic-assisted therapy. The therapist manual includes guidance on psychological preparation, intention-setting, integration, and therapeutic framing of ketamine experiences. Participants receive six 90-minute sessions over six weeks, delivered by trained health professionals (e.g., psychologists, mental health nurses, social workers) with specific training in the adapted CBT protocol and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Sessions include:\n\nPreparation (Week 1): Review of alcohol use, treatment goals, and ketamine orientation.\n\nIntegration (Weeks 2, 4, 6): Post-dose processing and linking experience to recovery goals occurring 24-48 hours post dose.\n\nContinued CBT (Weeks 3, 5): Coping strategies, goal setting, and relapse prevention.",[9],[28,29],"CBT","Psychotherapy",[31,36],{"name":32,"role":33,"phone":34,"phoneExt":21,"email":35},"Kirsten C Morley, PhD","CONTACT","+61295153636","Kirsten.morley@sydney.edu.au",{"name":37,"role":33,"phone":21,"phoneExt":21,"email":38},"Ellen Towers","ellen.towers@sydney.edu.au",[40],{"facility":41,"status":21,"city":42,"state":43,"zip":44,"country":45,"countryCode":46,"cosmosGeoPoint":47,"geoPoint":52,"contacts":53},"Drug Health Services, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital","Sydney","New South Wales","2050","Australia","AU",{"type":48,"coordinates":49},"Point",[50,51],151.20732,-33.86785,{"lat":51,"lon":50},[54,56,59,62],{"name":55,"role":33,"phone":21,"phoneExt":21,"email":35},"Kirsten Morley, PhD",{"name":57,"role":33,"phone":58,"phoneExt":21,"email":21},"Central Contact Line","0459877108",{"name":60,"role":61,"phone":21,"phoneExt":21,"email":21},"Paul Haber, MD, RACP, FAChAM","PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR",{"name":55,"role":63,"phone":21,"phoneExt":21,"email":21},"SUB_INVESTIGATOR",{"type":61,"investigatorFullName":65,"investigatorTitle":66,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":21,"oldOrganization":21},"Kirsten Morley BPsych MPH PhD","Professor",[68],{"name":69,"class":6},"University of Sydney","100611960","phase-1-ketamine-enhanced-therapy-for-individuals-with-alcohol-use-disorder-and-depression-a-pilot-study-ket-dual-100611960",false,"NCT07247370","Ketamine-Enhanced Therapy for Individuals With Alcohol Use Disorder and Depression: A Pilot Study (KET-DUAL)","An Open-label Pilot Evaluation of Ketamine-Enhanced Psychotherapy in Individuals With Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) and Co-morbid Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)","KET-DUAL","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n1.
