The main questions it aims to answer are:\n\n* Does oral ketamine result in a different mean change in pain scores compared with oral oxycodone?\n* Is there a difference in the need for additional opioid administration within 24 hours after the initial dose of study medication (oral ketamine vs oral oxycodone)?\n\nResearchers will compare oral ketamine to oral oxycodone to see if there is a difference in pain control or the need for additional opioid administration.\n\nParticipants will:\n\n* Fill out a survey prior to study medication administration assessing pain scores, pain presentation, and medication history\n* Be randomized to and receive a dose of oral ketamine or oral oxycodone as the study medication for pain control\n* Fill out a survey assessing pain control, side effects, and safety outcomes\n* Receive follow-up phone calls at 1 and 3 months after enrollment to assess pain and opioid use",[80],"Pain Management",[9,82,15],"pain control","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-06-22",{"date":86,"type":87},"2026-06-26","ACTUAL",{"date":89,"type":73},"2026-06-24",{"date":91,"type":73},"2027-04-30",{"name":5,"class":6},1]
