Obstetricians from three tertiary care centers in Egypt will be invited to participate in this Online web-based survey over the study period. The questions in this survey are included in 5 sections; demographics, workload and AVB practice, obstetrician-related factors, service provision factors, and what changes could be implemented to increase the rate of uptake of AVB by Egyptian obstetricians. The link to the survey will be sent to the study participants, and the data will be collected for analysis",[13,17,21],{"name":14,"affiliation":15,"role":16},"Alaa S Elsewafy, M.D.,","Faculty of Medicine - Ain Shams university","STUDY_CHAIR",{"name":18,"affiliation":19,"role":20},"Mohamed A Haroun","Faculty of Medicine - Modern University for Technology and Information","PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR",{"name":22,"affiliation":23,"role":16},"Ahmed M Sweidan","Faculty of Medicine - Suez University",[25,30],{"name":26,"role":27,"phone":28,"phoneExt":7,"email":29},"Ahmed M Elmaraghy, M.D,","CONTACT","+201010370980","ahmedelmaraghy@med.asu.edu.eg",{"name":31,"role":27,"phone":7,"phoneExt":7,"email":32},"Hamdy BM Alqenawy, M.D.,","hamdybakry@med.asu.edu.eg",[34],{"facility":35,"status":36,"city":37,"state":7,"zip":7,"country":38,"countryCode":39,"cosmosGeoPoint":40,"geoPoint":45,"contacts":46},"Ainshams University maternity hospital","RECRUITING","Cairo","Egypt","EG",{"type":41,"coordinates":42},"Point",[43,44],31.24967,30.06263,{"lat":44,"lon":43},[47],{"name":48,"role":27,"phone":7,"phoneExt":7,"email":49},"Ahmed M ElMaraghy","maraghypersian@gmail.com",{"type":20,"investigatorFullName":51,"investigatorTitle":52,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":7,"oldOrganization":7},"Ahmed Mohammed Elmaraghy","Assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology","100616697","practice-of-assisted-vaginal-birth-in-egypt-100616697",false,"NCT07308977","Practice of Assisted Vaginal Birth in Egypt","Factors Affecting the Practice of Assisted Vaginal Birth in Three Tertiary Level Hospitals in Egypt. According to data from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), approximately 6% of caesarean sections (CS) are performed on average because of inadequate supervision from junior staff members or a lack of training, particularly during the critical decision-making phase of this second stage. The unfamiliarity and lack of experience with operative vaginal delivery is a major cause for the rise in the rate of second stage caesarean section. This survey targets obstetricians with different levels of experience to find practical solutions to increase the rate of assisted vaginal delivery which subsequently will decrease the rate of second stage CS.",[70],"Vaginal Delivery",[72],"Assisted vaginal delivery","2026-05-10",{"date":75,"type":76},"2026-05-12","ACTUAL",{"date":78,"type":76},"2026-01-15",{"date":80,"type":66},"2026-07-15",{"name":5,"class":6},1]
