For patients with confirmed Rheumatic heart disease (RHD), treatment and referral depending on stage of disease. Antibiotic prescription could be shifted to community health workers delivering preventive medications via practical clinical algorithms, diagnostic tools, availability of appropriate antibiotics, and supportive supervision.
