Depending on tumor location, rehabilitation will focus on either the upper or lower limbs.\n\nFor lower limb rehabilitation, robotic or technological devices will be utilized for gait training with bodyweight support, as well as for balance and proprioception training. Upper limb rehabilitation will involve robotic or sensor-based devices enabling passive, active, and active-assistive movements of the shoulder, elbow, and hand.\n\nTreatment will be provided in various settings- inpatient, outpatient, or home-based- tailored to each patient's specific needs. Sessions will be conducted daily for 45 minutes, five days per week, over a two-month period.",[9],null,[20],{"name":21,"affiliation":5,"role":22},"Bruno Vincenzi, MD, PhD","PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR",[24],{"name":25,"role":26,"phone":27,"phoneExt":18,"email":28},"Bruno Vincenzi","CONTACT","+3906225411160","b.vincenzi@policlinicocampus.it",[30,48,59],{"facility":5,"status":31,"city":32,"state":33,"zip":34,"country":35,"countryCode":36,"cosmosGeoPoint":37,"geoPoint":42,"contacts":43},"RECRUITING","Rome","Lazio","00128","Italy","IT",{"type":38,"coordinates":39},"Point",[40,41],12.51133,41.89193,{"lat":41,"lon":40},[44],{"name":45,"role":26,"phone":46,"phoneExt":18,"email":47},"Cinzia Potestà","+3906225418855","c.potesta@policlinicocampus.it",{"facility":49,"status":50,"city":51,"state":52,"zip":53,"country":35,"countryCode":36,"cosmosGeoPoint":54,"geoPoint":58,"contacts":18},"Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi ONLUS","ACTIVE_NOT_RECRUITING","Roma","RM","00166",{"type":38,"coordinates":55},[56,57],11.10642,44.99364,{"lat":57,"lon":56},{"facility":60,"status":61,"city":62,"state":18,"zip":63,"country":35,"countryCode":36,"cosmosGeoPoint":64,"geoPoint":68,"contacts":69},"Istituto Nazionale Tumori-IRCCS-Fondazione G.Pascale","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","Naples","80131",{"type":38,"coordinates":65},[66,67],14.26811,40.85216,{"lat":67,"lon":66},[70],{"name":71,"role":26,"phone":72,"phoneExt":18,"email":73},"Monica Pinto, MD","+393384790798","m.pinto@istitutotumori.na.it",{"type":75,"investigatorFullName":18,"investigatorTitle":18,"investigatorAffiliation":18,"oldNameTitle":18,"oldOrganization":18},"SPONSOR",[77,79],{"name":78,"class":6},"Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi Onlus",{"name":80,"class":81},"Istituto Nazionale Tumori IRCCS - Fondazione G. Surgery is the mainstay of treatment and microscopic negative margins need to be achieved to improve disease local control. We designed this prospective study to evaluate the main features of motor impairment and the impact of tailored robotic rehabilitation techniques in patients treated for localized soft tissue sarcoma (surgery alone, or surgery + radiation or radiochemotherapy). Specific patients' motor strategies will be quantitatively measured through a biomechanical assessment, including the analysis of joint kinematics, and muscle activity timing patterns. Considering the influence of motor impairment after demolitive surgery, a major interest of this study will be focused on nutrition and Quality of life which will be prospectively evaluated by specific questionnaires at different time points.",[100],"Sarcoma, Soft Tissue",[102,103,104,105],"rehabilitation","nutrition","quality of life","instrumented assessment of motor performance","2025-03-19",{"date":108,"type":109},"2025-03-21","ACTUAL",{"date":111,"type":109},"2025-03-13",{"date":113,"type":94},"2026-08-31",{"name":5,"class":6},3]
