The waitlist control group (n=144) will receive 6-weekly telephone-based social support intervention.\n\nMain outcome measures: Primary outcome is biochemical-validated abstinence at the 6-month follow-up. Secondary outcomes include self-reported 30-day abstinence alcohol reduction, and psychological flexibility at baseline, post-program, 1-, 3-, and 6-month follow-ups.\n\nData analysis: Descriptive statistics, generalized estimating equations, multiple imputation, intention-to-treat, per protocol analyses, and cost-effectiveness analysis.\n\nExpected results: The telephone-based ACT is effective in assisting HH drinkers to quit drinking.",[57],"Alcohol Abstinence",[59,60,61,62],"young adults","Acceptance and Commitment Therapy","Telephone-based","alcohol abstinence","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-02-27",{"date":66,"type":67},"2026-03-04","ACTUAL",{"date":69,"type":51},"2026-08-01",{"date":71,"type":51},"2029-08-01",{"name":5,"class":6}]
