Persistent pain for at least 3 months after herpes zoster infection. Only patients who sign the informed consent form will be included.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\nContraindications to taVNS such as:\n\n1. pregnancy;\n2. active implants (e.g., pacemakers, cochlear implants) or brain shunts;\n3. previous neurological or psychiatric diagnoses;\n4. history of addiction or substance abuse;\n5. history of trauma and\u002For brain surgery;\n6. cardiac disease;\n7. acute or chronic use of medications and\u002For illicit drugs;\n8. susceptibility to headaches and seizures.
