Children admitted to the hospital with the clinical diagnosis of acute bronchiolitis, which is defined as an apparent viral respiratory tract infection associated with airway obstruction manifested by at least one of following symptoms:\n\n* Tachypnoea (WHO definition).\n* Increased respiratory effort manifested as follows:\n\n  1. Nasal flaring;\n  2. Grunting;\n  3. Use of accessory muscles;\n  4. Intercostal and\u002For subcostal chest wall retractions;\n  5. Apnoe.\n* Crackles and\u002For wheezing. 2.
