As a side inquiry, a few blood measures will be taken that are relevant to low level inflammation. The main questions the study aims to answer are:\n\n* Will hydrolyzed whey lower serum cholesterol readings in adults with starting values in the upper end of normal to the lower end of elevated?\n* Will the hydrolyzed whey affect a general measure of inflammation and two measures of indirect relevance to inflammation?\n\nResearchers will compare hydrolyzed whey to a conventional whey (a control protein not expected to affect serum cholesterol readings) to see if the hydrolyzed whey lowers serum cholesterol.\n\nParticipants will:\n\n* Drink one protein beverage every day for 6 weeks;\n* Go to a LabCorp facility for a blood draw before and after the 6 weeks.",[79],"Cholesterol",[79,81,82,83,84],"Whey","inflammation","Moderately elevated cholesterol","High end normal cholesterol","2025-08-05",{"date":87,"type":88},"2025-08-08","ACTUAL",{"date":85,"type":88},{"date":91,"type":73},"2026-01-15",{"name":5,"class":6},1]
