Patient-level data will be submitted by participating hospitals on a quarterly basis to the American College of Cardiology Foundation's National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR). The primary aims of the LAAO Registry are to optimize the outcomes and management of patients through the implementation of evidence-based guideline recommendations in clinical practice, facilitate efforts to improve the quality and safety for patients undergoing percutaneous and epicardial based left atrial appendage procedures, investigate novel quality improvement methods and provide risk-adjusted assessment of patients for comparison with nationwide NCDR data. The secondary purpose of the LAAO Registry is to serve as a rich source of clinical data to support assessments of short- and long-term safety, comparative and cost effectiveness research, and as a scalable data infrastructure for post market studies.",[24],"Atrial Fibrillation","RECRUITING","2026-06-12",{"date":28,"type":29},"2026-06-15","ACTUAL",{"date":31,"type":4},"2015-12",{"date":33,"type":19},"2029-01",{"name":35,"class":36},"American College of Cardiology","OTHER",1,{"id":39,"slug":40,"hasResults":11,"nctId":41,"briefTitle":42,"officialTitle":43,"acronym":44,"eligibilityCriteria":45,"healthyVolunteers":46,"sex":15,"minAge":47,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":48,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":21,"phases":4,"briefSummary":50,"conditions":51,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":25,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":26,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":53,"startDateStruct":54,"completionDateStruct":56,"leadSponsor":58,"locationsCount":37},"100227999","stsacc-tvt-registry-mitral-module-100227999","NCT02245763","STS\u002FACC TVT Registry Mitral Module","The Society of Thoracic Surgeons\u002F American College of Cardiology Transcatheter Valve Therapies Registry Mitral Module","TMVR","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* All patients\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients who cannot tolerate procedural anticoagulation or post procedural anti-platelet regimen\n* Active endocarditis of the mitral valve\n* Rheumatic mitral valve disease\n* Evidence of intracardiac, inferior vena cava (IVC) or femoral venous thrombus",true,"1 Year",{"count":49,"type":19},4000,"The TVT Registry™ is a benchmarking tool developed to track patient safety and real-world outcomes related to the transcatheter mitral valve repair (TMVR) procedure.
