Placenta previa is a condition in which the placenta covers or lies close to the cervix and may cause serious bleeding, preterm birth, and complications for both the pregnant woman and the baby.\n\nIn this prospective, randomized, multicenter study, eligible women with singleton pregnancies and ultrasound-confirmed placenta previa or low-lying placenta between 20 and 30 weeks of gestation will be assigned either to treatment with an Arabin cervical pessary or to standard care without a pessary. The study will compare bleeding-related outcomes and pregnancy duration between the two groups.\n\nThe study is designed to determine whether a cervical pessary is a safe and effective intervention for reducing bleeding-related complications and prolonging gestation in this high-risk pregnancy population.",[27],"Placenta Previa","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-06-19",{"date":31,"type":32},"2026-06-25","ACTUAL",{"date":34,"type":21},"2026-06",{"date":36,"type":21},"2027-07",{"name":38,"class":39},"Asklepios proresearch","INDUSTRY",1,{"id":42,"slug":43,"hasResults":11,"nctId":44,"briefTitle":45,"officialTitle":46,"acronym":47,"eligibilityCriteria":48,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":49,"minAge":17,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":50,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":52,"briefSummary":53,"conditions":54,"keywords":56,"overallStatus":28,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":58,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":59,"startDateStruct":61,"completionDateStruct":63,"leadSponsor":65,"locationsCount":4},"100637198","pulsed-field-ablation-for-atrial-fibrillation-using-a-balloon-for-early-intervention---study-100637198","NCT07621003","PULSed Field Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation Using a Balloon for Early Intervention - Study","PULSed Field Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation Using a Balloon for Early Intervention - Study - The \"PULSE - Study\"","PULSE","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Adults (≥18 years) with symptomatic or asymptomatic, paroxysmal or persistent atrial fibrillation\n* First diagnosis of AF within the last 36 months\n* At least one documented episode of AF on ECG, Holter monitoring, or eligible Smart Watch Device\n* No prior catheter ablation for AF\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Persistent AF \\>3 years or longstanding persistent AF\n* Previous AF-Ablation\n* Ongoing continuous AAD therapy with Amiodarone at baseline\n* History of failed continuous AAD therapy with \\> 1 agent. Safety, efficacy and feasibility of the VASCADE MVP device should be proven, too. The definition of endpoints will be trained in all participating study sites to preserve consistency.\n\nThe primary efficacy endpoint is time to ambulation after sheath removal. Time to ambulation is defined as the elapsed time between removal of the final closure device or removal of the final sheath and when the patient can stand and walk 20 ft without evidence of venous re-bleeding from the femoral access site.\n\nThe primary safety endpoint is the incidence of major periprocedural adverse events defined as adverse events until hospital discharge requiring medical intervention. Vascular access complications requiring solely the application of a pressure bandage will be classified as minor adverse event.\n\nAfter fulfillment of all inclusion and exclusion criteria (see 5.1. and 5.2.) and written informed consent, patients will be randomized to either group 1 or group 2 in a 1:1 ratio:\n\nGroup 1:\n\n50 patients treated with VASCADE MVP to achieve hemostasis\n\nGroup 2:\n\n50 patients treated with manual compression and one figure of eight suture Clinical follow-up will be evaluated at hospital discharge, as well as at day 30 by a phone call using a standardized questionnaire.
