Cancer treatments are associated with numerous adverse events that reduce patients' functionality and alter their clinical and molecular profiles. Physical exercise and adherence to nutritional guidelines during treatment and survivorship have been shown to improve recovery prognosis and reduce treatment-related complications. However, the specific effects of prehabilitation, defined as \"the process in the cancer continuum that occurs between diagnosis and the start of treatment,\" remain unknown in BC. A concurrent training program and specific nutritional guidelines during this phase could reduce treatment-related adverse events and improve recovery. In 2023, Spain will reach an all-time high aging rate of 137.7% due to the low birth rate and increasing life expectancy. In Castilla y León, 47.57% of the population lives in municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants. This percentage has decreased over the last 10 years, reflecting a clear trend towards rural exodus, and this population loss requires the development of specific measures. Spanish Law 45\u002F2007 includes as one of its objectives the promotion of quality social services and the guarantee of access to public services for older adults. However, geographical dispersion limits the effective implementation of these services. Although Castilla y León has a good network of local clinics, medical care in many municipalities is outpatient and limited to a weekly consultation. This low frequency of face-to-face care hinders the early detection of diseases, leads to a greater number of avoidable hospitalizations and contributes to older adults isolation. At the same time, it is essential to establish adequate training and rehabilitation programs, which would result in a decrease in hospitalizations and the health care costs associated with the pathology. Current cardiac rehabilitation programs based on physical exercise, especially moderate intensity continuous training (MICT), have demonstrated effectiveness. MICT improves cardiorespiratory fitness and quality of life in patients with AF. However, high-intensity intervallic training (HIIT) has shown superior benefits in these variables.\n\nAlthough HIIT traditionally has an aerobic focus, a variant called high-intensity functional training (HIFT) is suggested that incorporates muscle strengthening exercises recommended in the guidelines for AF management.
