The investigators will aim to describe the cohort with respect to their health conditions, age and frailty in addition to whether their procedure was planned or an emergency. The investigators will also look at the outcomes of these participants up to one year post procedure. The secondary aim is to look for associations between participant variables and their outcomes in hospital and at 1 year. The specific outcomes the investigators will look at are: inpatient complications and the incidence of heart attacks, strokes, unplanned PCI, cardiac rehospitalisation or death.",[24],"Cardio Vascular Disease",[26,27,28,29,30,31],"cardiovascular","octogenarian","frailty","SYNTAX","Percutaneous Coronary Intervention","calcification severity","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-06-03",{"date":35,"type":36},"2026-06-08","ACTUAL",{"date":38,"type":20},"2026-06",{"date":40,"type":20},"2027-06",{"name":42,"class":43},"Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust","OTHER",1,{"id":46,"slug":47,"hasResults":11,"nctId":48,"briefTitle":49,"officialTitle":49,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":50,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":4,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":51,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":21,"phases":4,"briefSummary":53,"conditions":54,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":57,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":58,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":59,"startDateStruct":61,"completionDateStruct":63,"leadSponsor":65,"locationsCount":44},"100623134","optimisation-of-the-blood-culture-pathway-utilising-behaviour-change-100623134","NCT07392684","Optimisation of the Blood Culture Pathway Utilising Behaviour Change","Inclusion Criteria:\n\nSecondary data:\n\n\\- adult blood culture sets received in the microbiology laboratory, between February 2023 and April 2024.\n\nStaff member participants\n\n\\- Staff members that collect adult blood cultures within the Trust\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\nSecondary data:\n\n* paediatric blood culture samples\n* samples where volume, collection and\u002For time to incubation data are not recorded on laboratory system and\u002For blood culture analyser",{"count":52,"type":20},24,"Blood culture (BC) is the gold standard for the definitive diagnosis of bacteraemia, providing the opportunity to recover and identify the causative organism, and optimize subsequent antimicrobial treatment.
