Participants will be engaged in two phases of training. In the first phase, participants will be assigned to receive verbal-only treatment. To minimize and prevent the carry-over effects caused by the first intervention, a one-month washout period will be implemented before the start of the second phase. After a washout period, participants will switch to GVT in the second phase.",[26,27],"Aphasia","Gestures",[26,29,30],"Gesture","Rehabilitation","RECRUITING","2026-03-08",{"date":34,"type":35},"2026-03-11","ACTUAL",{"date":37,"type":35},"2025-04-01",{"date":39,"type":20},"2028-09",{"name":41,"class":42},"Hong Kong University","OTHER",1,{"id":45,"slug":46,"hasResults":11,"nctId":47,"briefTitle":48,"officialTitle":49,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":50,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":51,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":53,"phases":4,"briefSummary":54,"conditions":55,"keywords":60,"overallStatus":31,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":64,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":65,"startDateStruct":67,"completionDateStruct":69,"leadSponsor":71,"locationsCount":43},"100605342","retrospective-cohort-study-of-low-flow-extracorporeal-carbon-dioxide-removal-ecco2r-system-evaluating-ecco2rs-efficacy-and-safety-in-participants-with-respiratory-failure-100605342","NCT07161271","Retrospective Cohort Study of Low-Flow Extracorporeal Carbon Dioxide Removal (ECCO2R) System: Evaluating ECCO2R's Efficacy and Safety in Participants With Respiratory Failure","Retrospective Cohort Study of Low-Flow Extracorporeal Carbon Dioxide Removal (ECCO2R) System: Evaluating Efficacy and Safety","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients supported with ECCO2R in one of the designated study sites\n* Admitted to the ICU between 1 Jan 2022 and 30 June 2024\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients younger than 18 years old",{"count":52,"type":20},59,"OBSERVATIONAL","This is an observational study performed by retrospective review of data routinely collected for patients receiving low-flow extracorporeal carbon dioxide removal (ECCO2R) therapy in intensive care units (ICUs). Participants are randomly assigned to one of three groups: VR intervention, video control, or usual care.\n\nThe VR group receives immersive VR sessions using the SilVR Adventures platform. The video group receives non-immersive video sessions with similar content. The usual care group receives no additional intervention.\n\nAssessments are conducted at baseline, immediate post-intervention, and 3 months post-intervention to measure changes in depression, anxiety, loneliness, quality of life, and other outcomes. The intervention dosage will be 4 weeks (1 sessions\u002Fweek; 30 min\u002Fsession).\n\nSecondarily, the study explores differences in effectiveness between caregivers and homebound older adults, and potential moderators or mediators such as baseline health status, technological literacy, and social support.",[85,86,87,88,89],"Caregiver Stress","Social Isolation in Older Adults","Cognitive Decline in Older Adults","Depression in Older Adults","Anxiety in Older Adults",[91,92,93,94,95,96,97,98],"Virtual Reality","Respite Care","Caregivers","Older Adults","Randomized Controlled Trial","Mental Health","Cognitive Function","uality of Life","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2025-09-06",{"date":102,"type":35},"2025-09-12",{"date":104,"type":20},"2025-09-01",{"date":106,"type":20},"2027-02-28",{"name":41,"class":42},""]
