The study will investigate whether the combination of intrathecal Wharton's jelly mesenchymal stem cells and transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation (tSCS) is safe and viable in individuals with chronic traumatic SCI.\n\nThe trial will enrol 10 participants aged 16-70 with traumatic SCI (cervical or thoracic levels C1-T12) classified as ASIA Impairment Scale A-C, who are 1-5 years post-injury. Participants will receive three intrathecal injections of Wharton's jelly mesenchymal stem cells, each containing 30 million viable cells (±30%), administered intrathecally at the L3-L4 level. This cellular therapy will be combined with transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation and intensive neurorehabilitation.\n\nParticipants will undergo comprehensive assessments over a 12-month follow-up period to monitor safety, feasibility, and secondarily to evaluate potential improvements in motor, sensory, and autonomic functions. Additional annual follow-up will continue for 2 years after study completion to evaluate long-term safety.",[61,62,63,64],"Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI)","Spinal Cord Injury","Traumatic Spinal Cord Injuries","Spinal Cord Disease",[66,27,67,68,69,70,71,72,73,74],"Mesenchymal Stem Cells","Cell- and Tissue-Based Therapy","Intrathecal Administration","Neuroplasticity","Spinal Cord Stimulation","Safety","Clinical Trials, Phase I","Electric Stimulation Therapy","Feasibility Study","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2025-05-21",{"date":78,"type":36},"2025-05-25",{"date":80,"type":21},"2025-09-01",{"date":82,"type":21},"2028-12-31",{"name":42,"class":43},{"id":85,"slug":86,"hasResults":11,"nctId":87,"briefTitle":88,"officialTitle":88,"acronym":89,"eligibilityCriteria":90,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":91,"targetDuration":93,"studyType":94,"phases":4,"briefSummary":95,"conditions":96,"keywords":100,"overallStatus":75,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":104,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":105,"startDateStruct":107,"completionDateStruct":109,"leadSponsor":111,"locationsCount":44},"100566925","acquired-brain-injury-and-neurorehabilitation-the-influence-of-psychological-characteristics-100566925","NCT06661512","Acquired Brain Injury and Neurorehabilitation: the Influence of Psychological Characteristics","DANEA","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n1. Neurorehabilitation aims to reduce these deficits and develop compensatory strategies that increase the person's functionality. However, the success of neurorehabilitation process varies and is influenced by the type of injury, the characteristics of the patient or the treatment received. Despite all the studies about patient characteristics, psychological aspects currently continue to be a field to be explored.\n\nThe main objective of the study is to study the psychological characteristics of people with brain damage. Secondary objectives include analyzing its link with other indicators, exploring possible differences depending on the etiology of brain damage, assessing its evolution during neurorehabilitation and exploring its prognostic value.\n\nTo carry out this prospective longitudinal observational study, adult patients with acquired brain damage to less than 6 months of evolution who present an objective cognitive alteration will be selected. Patients with a neurological or psychiatric history will be excluded.\n\nPatients included in the study will be administered computerized questionnaires at the beginning of the neurorehabilitation program. The same questionnaires will be administered again 2 months later. In those hospitalized patients who subsequently continue outpatient treatment, a third administration will be performed (2 months after the second administration).",[97,98,99],"Brain Injury","Stroke Patients","TBI-Traumatic Brain Injury",[101,102,103],"brain injury","neurorehabilitation","psychological characteristics","2024-10-25",{"date":106,"type":36},"2024-10-28",{"date":108,"type":21},"2024-11",{"date":110,"type":21},"2029-11",{"name":42,"class":43},{"id":113,"slug":114,"hasResults":11,"nctId":115,"briefTitle":116,"officialTitle":116,"acronym":117,"eligibilityCriteria":118,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":119,"enrollmentInfo":120,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":94,"phases":4,"briefSummary":122,"conditions":123,"keywords":126,"overallStatus":32,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":130,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":131,"startDateStruct":133,"completionDateStruct":135,"leadSponsor":137,"locationsCount":44},"100556915","machine-learning-based-eeg-biomarkers-for-personalized-interventions-100556915","NCT06531317","Machine-Learning Based EEG Biomarkers for Personalized Interventions","EEG-INSIGHT","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Age: Over 18 years old.\n* Neuropathic Pain (NP): Subacute NP at or below the lesion level for at least 1 month following spinal cord injury or disease.
