The primary objectives are:\n\n* To assess whether adenoid hypertrophy affects the thickness or structure of the masseter muscle.\n* To determine whether there is a measurable difference in masseter muscle characteristics between children with and without adenoid hypertrophy.\n\nResearchers will compare children diagnosed with adenoid hypertrophy and scheduled for adenoidectomy to healthy controls without adenoid hypertrophy.\n\nEach participant will:\n\n* Undergo ultrasonographic examination of the masseter muscle using a 9L linear probe (6-15 MHz), and\n* Have their occlusal relationship, dental findings, age, sex, and adenoid hypertrophy grade recorded.",[25,26,27],"Adenoid Hypertrophy","Masseter Muscle","Malocclusion",[25,29,26],"Ultrasonography","RECRUITING","2025-12-25",{"date":33,"type":34},"2025-12-29","ACTUAL",{"date":36,"type":34},"2024-07-20",{"date":38,"type":21},"2026-02-28",{"name":40,"class":41},"Melis AKYILDIZ","OTHER",""]
