This pilot randomized controlled trial aims to evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary effect of an educational intervention on the knowledge and readiness in managing OAAs among community pharmacists in Malaysia.\n\nPRIMARY OBJECTIVE • To evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of the educational intervention on OAAs among community pharmacists.\n\nSECONDARY OBJECTIVE\n\n• To obtain preliminary data on the effectiveness of the educational intervention to improve community pharmacists' knowledge and confidence in managing OAAs.\n\nParticipants will be randomly assigned to either the intervention group or control group in a 1:1 ratio using block randomization. After enrolling, participants will be asked to complete a baseline survey assessing their knowledge and confidence about managing OAAs. Immediately after completing the intervention, participants in the intervention group will repeat the same questionnaire to assess changes in their knowledge and confidence.\n\nResults of this pilot study will inform the design of a larger study to definitively test whether this intervention improves community pharmacists' knowledge and readiness. This research may help better prepare community pharmacists to provide high-quality care to patients receiving OAAs.",[27,28,29],"Oral Anti-Tumor Drugs","Oral Antineoplastic Agents","Oral Anticancer Drugs",[31,32,33],"Community pharmacists","Oral anticancer agents","Educational intervention","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-06-24",{"date":37,"type":38},"2026-06-30","ACTUAL",{"date":40,"type":21},"2026-08",{"date":42,"type":21},"2026-11",{"name":44,"class":45},"Monash University Malaysia","OTHER",1,{"id":48,"slug":49,"hasResults":11,"nctId":50,"briefTitle":51,"officialTitle":52,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":53,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":18,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":54,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":56,"briefSummary":57,"conditions":58,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":60,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":61,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":62,"startDateStruct":64,"completionDateStruct":66,"leadSponsor":68,"locationsCount":46},"100592621","el-shin-therapy-for-depressive-symptoms-100592621","NCT06995807","EL-SHIN Therapy for Depressive Symptoms","Enhancing the Efficacy of Depression and Low Mood Treatment: A Novel Adjunctive Approach","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Age: Above 18 yrs old\n* DASS-21 scores:\n\n\"Moderately Depressed (Score: 14-20)\", \"Moderately Anxious (Score: 10-14)\" \\& \"Moderately Stressed (Score: 19-25)\"\n\n* Non-Muslim (Due to legal restriction in Malaysia for this religion)\n* English literate\n* Believers in Creationism\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Muslim (legal restrictions in Malaysia for this religion).\n* Non-English literate (research will be conducted in English only).\n* Individuals with any other medical conditions or on current medication To reduce potential complications or confounding factors).",{"count":55,"type":21},80,[24],"This is a research aiming to find the effectiveness of an innovative therapy, EL-SHIN THERAPY, in ameliorating depressive symptoms.",[59],"Depressive Disorder","RECRUITING","2025-11-27",{"date":63,"type":38},"2025-12-01",{"date":65,"type":38},"2025-06-01",{"date":67,"type":21},"2027-05",{"name":44,"class":45},{"id":70,"slug":71,"hasResults":11,"nctId":72,"briefTitle":73,"officialTitle":74,"acronym":75,"eligibilityCriteria":76,"healthyVolunteers":16,"sex":17,"minAge":18,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":77,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":79,"briefSummary":80,"conditions":81,"keywords":86,"overallStatus":34,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":91,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":92,"startDateStruct":94,"completionDateStruct":96,"leadSponsor":98,"locationsCount":46},"100573286","heat-adaptation-through-community-based-approaches-and-research-at-seaco-structural-and-behavioural-interventions-heat-care-100573286","NCT06744309","Heat Adaptation Through Community-based Approaches and Research at SEACO: Structural and Behavioural Interventions (Heat Care)","Heat Adaptation Through Community-based Approaches and Research at SEACO: Structural and Behavioural Interventions","Heat Care","Individual Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Adults aged at least 18 years old\n* Willing to participate in all study components\n* Consent to roof painting and installation of heat and humidity measurement devices\n* Consent to wear the supplied wearables (Garmin Vivosmart 5) for data collection\n* No plans to relocate during the study period\n* Possess a smartphone for receiving health education materials\n\nIndividual Exclusion Criteria:\n\n* Individuals belonging to one household with existing participants\n* Bedridden individuals or those requiring assistance in movement\n\nHousehold Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Single-story house\n* Main house measurement less than 1200 sqft\n* Built with brick or brick and wooden\n* Roof made of zinc, ceramic\u002Fclay, or mixed, suitable for cool roof painting\n* Minimal to no requirement for roof repair\n* No plans for renovation during the study period\n\nHousehold Exclusion Criteria:\n\n* Double-story houses, shops, or empty houses\n* Houses with the facility to sprinkle water on the roof",{"count":78,"type":21},1000,[24],"The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if structural and behavioral interventions can mitigate the health effects of extreme heat in rural Malaysian communities. The study focuses on implementing cool roofs (a passive cooling system) and heat literacy education to improve heat adaptation behaviors. The main questions it aims to answer are:\n\n* Does the implementation of cool roofs reduce indoor temperatures and related heat stress in rural households?\n* Does heat literacy education improve community awareness and behaviors related to coping with extreme heat?\n\nResearchers will compare four groups: one receiving both cool roofs and heat literacy interventions, one receiving only the cool roof intervention, one receiving only heat literacy education, and a control group receiving neither intervention. Participants will be asked to:\n\n* Have their roofs painted with UV-resistant white paint (for cool roof intervention groups).\n* Participate in educational sessions and training on heat-related health risks and coping strategies (for heat literacy intervention groups).\n* Complete baseline and follow-up surveys at 3, 6, and 12 months.\n* Wear a Garmin Vivosmart 5 sensor for two weeks during each data collection period to monitor heart rate, physical activity, and sleep patterns.",[82,83,84,85],"Climate Change","Heat; Weather","Heat Effect","Heat; Excess",[87,88,89,90],"heat health","heat literacy","thermotolerance","Rising average temperature","2024-12-19",{"date":93,"type":38},"2024-12-20",{"date":95,"type":21},"2025-01",{"date":97,"type":21},"2027-07",{"name":44,"class":45},""]
