Bladder tests can cause anxiety or discomfort, which sometimes affects results. Playing running water sounds may help patients relax and improve their experience, based on earlier research. Participants will be randomly placed into one of two groups. One group will listens to running water sounds during the test while the other group will have the test done in the usual way without additional auditory intervention. Participants rate their anxiety before, during, and after the test using simple scales. Parameters of the test will be recorded for analysis.",[27],"Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS)",[29,30,31,32],"Urodynamics","Anxiety","Running water sound","Maximum flow rate","RECRUITING","2026-02-28",{"date":36,"type":37},"2026-03-05","ACTUAL",{"date":39,"type":37},"2025-12-01",{"date":41,"type":21},"2027-11-30",{"name":43,"class":44},"Princess Margaret Hospital, Hong Kong","OTHER_GOV",{"id":46,"slug":47,"hasResults":11,"nctId":48,"briefTitle":49,"officialTitle":50,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":51,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":52,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":54,"briefSummary":55,"conditions":56,"keywords":58,"overallStatus":63,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":64,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":65,"startDateStruct":67,"completionDateStruct":68,"leadSponsor":70,"locationsCount":4},"100565409","vaginal-prolapse-pessary-material-trial-pvc-vs-silicon-100565409","NCT06641804","Vaginal Prolapse Pessary Material Trial PVC vs Silicon","Effect of Materials of Vaginal Ring Pessary for Pelvic Organ Prolapse on the Effects of Complications and Patient's Satisfaction","Inclusion criteria\n\n* At least 18 years old who understand written traditional Chinese\n* Diagnosed with stage 1-4 POP according to the standard of Pelvic organ prolapse Quantification (POP-Q)\n* Using PVC pessary as long term management for POP\n* Willing to participate and provide a written informed consent.\n\nExclusion criteria\n\n* Do not understand or comprehend written traditional Chinese\n* Cannot provide written consent\n* Vaginal complication requiring discontinuation of pessary use\n* Unable to follow up clinic 6 months later\n* Pregnant or lactating\n* Recruited in other research studies",{"count":53,"type":21},140,[24],"The goal of this clinical trial is to determine the effect of vaginal ring pessary material on pessary complications and patients' satisfaction.\n\nParticipants who are using PVC (polyvinyl chloride) pessary will be randomized to\n\n1.
