Although coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) seems to be the first-line cardiac imaging testing (CIT) according to the recommendations from current guidelines, the optimal diagnostic strategy to identify low risk patients who may derive minimal benefit from further CIT is the cornerstone of clinical management for SCP. Recently, different diagnostic strategies were provided to effectively defer unnecessary CIT, but few studies have prospectively determined the actual effect of applying these strategies in clinical practice. Therefore, the OPERATE study was designed to compare the effectiveness and safety of two proposed diagnostic strategies in identification of low risk individual who may derive minimal benefit from CCTA among patients with SCP suggestive of CCS in a pragmatic randomized controlled trial (RCT).",[61],"Chronic Coronary Syndrome",[63,64,65,66,28],"Stable Chest Pain","Pretest Probability","Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography","Diagnostic Strategy","2024-12-20",{"date":69,"type":35},"2024-12-24",{"date":71,"type":35},"2023-12-11",{"date":73,"type":21},"2025-12-11",{"name":41,"class":42},4,{"id":77,"slug":78,"hasResults":11,"nctId":79,"briefTitle":80,"officialTitle":81,"acronym":82,"eligibilityCriteria":83,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":18,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":84,"targetDuration":85,"studyType":23,"phases":4,"briefSummary":86,"conditions":87,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":31,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":91,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":92,"startDateStruct":94,"completionDateStruct":96,"leadSponsor":98,"locationsCount":75},"100415546","ccta-improves-clinical-management-of-stable-chest-pain-100415546","NCT04691037","CCTA Improves Clinical Management of Stable Chest Pain","Improving the Clinical Management of Stable Chest Pain Based on Imaging: a Registry of Computed Tomography Coronary Angiography","CICM-SCP","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* symptomatic patients with SCP suspected of obstructive CAD.\n* referred for CCTA for the assessment of SCP.\n* ≥18 years of age.\n* signed informed consent.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* acute coronary syndromes\n* previous CAD or coronary revascularization\n* nonsinus rhythm\n* cardiomyopathy, valvular disease, congenital heart disease or left cardiac insufficiency because of other reasons",{"count":20,"type":21},"3 Years","The investigator aims to prospectively enroll patients who were referred for coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) for the assessment of stable chest pain (SCP) suspected of obstructive coronary artery disease (CAD).
