This study compares the effectiveness of a well-established treatment (cognitive rehabilitation) with the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders (UP) to alleviate these cognitive deficits and evaluate its effect on anxiety-depressive symptoms and the quality of life of survivors.\n\nMethods: A three-arm randomized superiority clinical trial, with a pre-post and follow-up repeated measures and intergroup design with a 1:1:1 allocation ratio will be carried out. A hundred and twenty-three breast cancer survivors with mild to moderate cognitive impairment will be randomly assigned to one of the interventions of the study: cognitive rehabilitation intervention group, an intervention group with UP intervention, or a control group on the waiting list. The primary outcome is to observe a significant improvement in cognitive function and quality of life in both intervention groups and a significant decrease in emotional impairments in comparison with the waitlist group. These results will be maintained at six months of follow-up.\n\nDiscussion: The aim of this work is to test the efficacy of the Unified Barlow Protocol in reducing cognitive deficits in breast cancer survivors. The results of this trial may be useful in reducing the presence of cognitive problems in survivors and improving their emotional state and quality of life.",[27],"Cancer, Breast",[29,30,31,32],"Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders (UP)","cognitive impairments","quality of life","anxiety and depression.","RECRUITING","2026-04-28",{"date":36,"type":37},"2026-05-05","ACTUAL",{"date":39,"type":37},"2021-01-25",{"date":41,"type":21},"2028-12-31",{"name":43,"class":44},"Universidad de Córdoba","OTHER",2,{"id":47,"slug":48,"hasResults":11,"nctId":49,"briefTitle":50,"officialTitle":51,"acronym":52,"eligibilityCriteria":53,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":54,"enrollmentInfo":55,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":57,"briefSummary":58,"conditions":59,"keywords":68,"overallStatus":74,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":75,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":76,"startDateStruct":78,"completionDateStruct":80,"leadSponsor":82,"locationsCount":45},"100585999","ultra-brief-psychological-treatments-for-emotional-symptoms-and-disorders-100585999","NCT06909669","Ultra-brief Psychological Treatments for Emotional Symptoms and Disorders","Ultra-brief Psychological Treatments for Emocional Symptoms and Disorders: An Efficacy and Efficiency Analysis","UltraPsyBrief","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n\\- Patients presenting negative emotional symptomatology (anxiety, depression or somatizations), mild or moderate. In Spain, the problem is significant, particularly in the southern regions. Factors contributing to childhood obesity include dietary habits, lack of physical activity, and socioeconomic influences.\n\nEfforts to address childhood obesity in Spain include various programs focusing on dietary modification, increased physical activity, and family involvement.
