The study aims to determine whether the Spanish versions of the SCS-2 and SCS-C demonstrate adequate internal consistency, construct validity, interrater reliability, and test-retest stability, and whether these tools validly assess imminent suicide risk in a Spanish-speaking psychiatric population. Clinical assessments using the SCS-2 and SCS-C will be compared with established diagnostic and functional measures, including the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI), the Sheehan Disability Scale (SDS), and the Sheehan Suicidality Tracking Scale (S-STS), to evaluate convergent and discriminant validity. Participants will complete the SCS-2 and SCS-C at both admission and discharge from a psychiatric intensive care unit, undergo structured interviews and functional assessments, be evaluated by two independent raters for interrater reliability, and be reassessed within a short time interval to measure test-retest reliability. Follow-up contacts at 7 and 30 days post-discharge will be used to assess suicidal behavior outcomes. This is the first study to culturally adapt and validate these suicide-specific instruments in Latin America.",[25],"Suicidal Crisis",[27],"Suicidal Crisis Syndrome","RECRUITING","2025-09-15",{"date":31,"type":32},"2025-09-19","ACTUAL",{"date":34,"type":32},"2025-08-12",{"date":36,"type":21},"2026-04-30",{"name":38,"class":39},"University Diego Portales","OTHER",1,{"id":42,"slug":43,"hasResults":11,"nctId":44,"briefTitle":45,"officialTitle":46,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":47,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":18,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":48,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":49,"phases":50,"briefSummary":52,"conditions":53,"keywords":56,"overallStatus":28,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":61,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":62,"startDateStruct":64,"completionDateStruct":66,"leadSponsor":68,"locationsCount":40},"100584452","lighthouse-parenting-nanai-a-mentalization-based-group-therapy-for-caregivers-with-history-of-trauma-100584452","NCT06889519","Lighthouse Parenting Nanai: a Mentalization-based Group Therapy for Caregivers with History of Trauma","A Mentalization-based Intervention to Enhance the Quality of Caregiver-child Interaction and Reduce the Risk of Child Maltreatment: a Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n1. The study focuses on parents with a history of childhood trauma, aiming to improve parent-child relationships, reduce parenting stress, and ultimately decrease the risk of child maltreatment.\n\nThe goal of this study is to test how well the Lighthouse Mentalization-Based Treatment Parenting Program (Lighthouse MBT-P) works for parents who may be at risk of harming their children. The program aims to help parents understand and manage their own and their children's emotions better. By improving these skills, the program hopes to reduce stress in parenting and lower the chances of child abuse or neglect.\n\nThe main questions this study will answer are:\n\n* Can parents follow and complete the Lighthouse MBT-P program?\n* Does the program help lower stress in parenting and improve relationships between parents and their children?\n\nParticipants in this study will:\n\n* Attend weekly group sessions for 12 weeks. These sessions will teach them how to better understand and manage emotions.\n* Take part in discussions led by trained psychologists.\n\nResearchers will compare the results of parents who take part in the Lighthouse MBT-P program with those who receive standard parenting support to see which approach works better.",[54,55],"Child Maltreatment","Trauma, Psychological",[57,58,59,60],"mentalization-based treatments",", cultural adaptation","child maltreatment","caregiving relationship","2025-03-16",{"date":63,"type":32},"2025-03-21",{"date":65,"type":32},"2024-08-17",{"date":67,"type":21},"2025-10-31",{"name":38,"class":39},{"id":70,"slug":71,"hasResults":11,"nctId":72,"briefTitle":73,"officialTitle":74,"acronym":75,"eligibilityCriteria":76,"healthyVolunteers":77,"sex":17,"minAge":78,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":79,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":49,"phases":81,"briefSummary":82,"conditions":83,"keywords":85,"overallStatus":28,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":89,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":90,"startDateStruct":92,"completionDateStruct":94,"leadSponsor":96,"locationsCount":40},"100576632","impact-of-a-musical-intervention-in-older-adults-ara-project---armona-recreativa-para-el-adulto-mayor-100576632","NCT06787820","Impact of a Musical Intervention in Older Adults (ARA Project - Armonía Recreativa Para El Adulto Mayor)","Evaluation of the Cognitive and Socioemotional Impact of a Musical Intervention in Older Adults","ARA","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Older adults residing in a protected residence.\n* Consent to participate in the study.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Physical or cognitive impairments that prevent participation in musical intervention activities.\n* Mild cognitive impairment determined by the GDS-3 scale, reported by the residence therapists.",true,"65 Years",{"count":80,"type":21},40,[51],"Currently, the world is facing the challenge of population aging. At this stage of life, various deteriorations, such as cognitive decline, begin to appear, significantly impairing the quality of life. Therefore, it is imperative to seek interventions that can positively impact the life trajectory of older adults. While the cognitive benefits of musical interventions for children and young people are well-documented, there is a lack of evidence regarding their effects on the cognitive and socioemotional well-being of institutionalized older adults.\n\nTo address this, the investigators will conduct a non-randomized clinical trial at Fundación Las Rosas, which operates various homes for the elderly. The trial will involve two groups: a control group and an experimental group. The control group will attend concerts held within the care facility, while the experimental group will participate in a music workshop once a week for three months.\n\nTo evaluate the outcomes, cognitive and socioemotional assessments will be conducted at three points: prior to the musical intervention (baseline), at the end of the intervention period, and one month after the interventions conclude (follow-up). The results will provide valuable insights to support the development and implementation of cost-effective non-pharmacological interventions, specifically musical interventions, to promote well-being in older adults by demonstrating their applicability and effectiveness within the national context. By assessing the intervention's impact on both cognitive and socioemotional dimensions, this study will also contribute to a deeper understanding of how these skills can be developed and promoted among older adults.",[84],"Older People",[86,87,88],"Music","Elderly persons","Institutionalized","2025-01-20",{"date":91,"type":32},"2025-01-22",{"date":93,"type":32},"2024-06-01",{"date":95,"type":21},"2025-05-01",{"name":38,"class":39},""]
