Disordered eating can develop into clinically significant eating disorders, which are associated with serious negative impacts on psychological and physical well-being, and can adversely impact developmental trajectories in children and adolescents. Given limitations in the eating disorder intervention literature, it is important to invest in effective eating disorder prevention programs. Evidence suggests that children can recognize the existence of societal appearance ideals as early as age 3; thus, this study examines the acceptability and feasibility of a single-session, online, parent-focused intervention targeting predictors of body image disturbance in young children.",[27,28,29],"Eating Disorders","Body Image Disturbance","Weight Bias",[31,32,33,34,35],"Eating Disorder Prevention","Restriction","Loss of Control Eating","Body Image","Single Session Intervention","RECRUITING","2025-12-11",{"date":39,"type":40},"2025-12-18","ACTUAL",{"date":42,"type":40},"2025-11-01",{"date":44,"type":21},"2026-01",{"name":46,"class":47},"University at Albany","OTHER",1,{"id":50,"slug":51,"hasResults":11,"nctId":52,"briefTitle":53,"officialTitle":54,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":55,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":18,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":56,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":58,"briefSummary":59,"conditions":60,"keywords":62,"overallStatus":36,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":69,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":70,"startDateStruct":72,"completionDateStruct":74,"leadSponsor":76,"locationsCount":48},"100596257","feasibility-and-effectiveness-of-goal-driven-extended-reality-for-lower-limb-rehabilitation-100596257","NCT07043101","Feasibility and Effectiveness of Goal Driven Extended Reality for Lower Limb Rehabilitation","Feasibility and Effectiveness of Goal Driven Extended Reality for Lower Limb Rehabilitation: A Pilot Study","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Inpatient at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital\n* Receiving or scheduled to receive Vector-based gait training therapy\n* At least 18 years of age at the time of enrollment Exclusion Criteria\n* Unable to use the Vector due to contraindications for Vector use (\\>500 lb or \\\u003C30 lb), external halo neck support, severe osteoporosis, uncontrolled diabetes, uncontrolled hypertension, unstable fractures)\n* Unable to follow 2 step commands\n* Vertigo or vision abnormalities contraindicated for MR use\n* Unable to ambulate prior to current injury\n* In the judgment of the clinician, is not a good fit for the study",{"count":57,"type":21},24,[24],"This pilot study will evaluate the feasibility and preliminary effectiveness of incorporating Extended Reality (XR) into the treatment of patients undergoing Lower Limb Rehabilitation (LLR) using the Vector Gait and Safety System. LLR requires repetitive motions over the span of weeks or months with the aim of restoring mobility. This duration of time poses challenges with motivation and increases the burden on the physical therapists. The use of XR in conjunction with conventional physical therapy could significantly increase motivation, along with providing therapists with new ways of tracking the patient's recovery. Pilot study results will be used to propose new and innovative approaches to physical recovery during inpatient rehabilitation, potentially increasing motivation, enhancing therapy participation, and reducing the overall time taken for recovery.",[61],"Gait Rehabilitation",[63,64,61,65,66,67,68],"Inpatient Rehabilitation","Augmented Reality","Lower Extremity Function","Extended Reality","Mixed Reality","Virtual Reality","2025-06-20",{"date":71,"type":40},"2025-06-29",{"date":73,"type":40},"2025-05-12",{"date":75,"type":21},"2025-08-15",{"name":46,"class":47},""]
