It will also learn if a four-week yoga program decreases anxiety and depression symptoms in people undergoing IVF.\n\nThe main questions it aims to answer are:\n\n* Does a four-week yoga program effect quality of life, anxiety, and depression symptoms in people undergoing IVF?\n* Do the effects vary by individual characteristics of the people in the study?\n\nResearchers will compare the yoga intervention group to routine care as usual.\n\nParticipants will:\n\n* Participate in a weekly virtual yoga class for four weeks (total of four yoga classes), or follow routine care as usual while undergoing IVF.\n* Take three online surveys every 4 weeks.\n* Be involved in the study for 8 weeks.",[26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33],"IVF","In Vitro Fertilization","Quality of Life (QOL)","Anxiety","Depression and Anxiety Symptom","Assisted Reproduction Technologies","Yoga","Mental Health",[35,36,37,38,32,39,40],"Fertilization in Vitro","Reproductive Techniques, Assisted","Quality of Life","Psychological Well-Being","Mind-Body Therapies","Complementary Therapies","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-02-09",{"date":44,"type":45},"2026-02-17","ACTUAL",{"date":47,"type":20},"2026-01-21",{"date":49,"type":20},"2027-01-31",{"name":51,"class":52},"Villanova University","OTHER",1,{"id":55,"slug":56,"hasResults":11,"nctId":57,"briefTitle":58,"officialTitle":59,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":60,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":61,"minAge":17,"maxAge":62,"enrollmentInfo":63,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":21,"phases":65,"briefSummary":66,"conditions":67,"keywords":69,"overallStatus":41,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":73,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":74,"startDateStruct":76,"completionDateStruct":78,"leadSponsor":80,"locationsCount":53},"100618657","weight-bias-reducation-intervention-with-nursing-students-using-simulation-the-brave-study-100618657","NCT07334470","Weight Bias Reducation Intervention With Nursing Students Using Simulation: The BRAVE Study","The BRAVE Study: A Sensitivity Intervention With Nursing Students Using Simulation","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Nursing students aged 18-25\n* Nursing students during their second or fourth year of the traditional or FLEX BSN undergraduate curriculum (in specified nursing courses)\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Non-nursing students\n* Nursing students taking courses out of the normal curriculum sequence\n* Nursing students who are not of traditional undergraduate ages (18-25 years)\n* Students who decline to consent","ALL","25 Years",{"count":64,"type":20},368,[23],"This randomized controlled trial will be a curriculum-embedded weight sensitivity training program. There will be two groups. The control group will receive the standard obesity lecture (SOL) and the intervention group will receive the BRAVE Intervention (BRAVE: Building Respect and Acceptance through Valuing Everybody); a Weight Bias Reduction (WBR) intervention. Both groups will have two simulation encounters with standardized patients who are living with obesity and the outcome will be to improve weight bias and increase weight sensitivity over one year. Participants will include second- and fourth-year nursing students. Two cohorts of nursing students will be recruited over two years during orientation for their NUR courses (n = 368); a combined total of 420 students are typically enrolled in these courses. Study participants will be randomized by 8-person simulation groups (clusters) to either the BRAVE intervention or SOL control group. They will then participate in the two simulation-based experiences and weight bias reduction education or standard obesity lecture, respectively, with a debriefing segment and educational components. To compare the efficacy of BRAVE groups to SOL groups in validated questionnaires will assess changing attitudes, beliefs, and clinical communication behaviors when comparing baseline to 3 months post-intervention, and one year after the intervention.",[68],"Weight Bias",[70,71,72],"weight bias","nursing education","obesity","2026-01-10",{"date":75,"type":45},"2026-01-13",{"date":77,"type":20},"2026-01-12",{"date":79,"type":20},"2028-05-20",{"name":51,"class":52},""]
