The survival decreases with number of defibrillations required to terminate VF\u002FVT. In 2022, one prospective cluster randomized trial showed increased survival among (OHCA) patients in refractory VF using Double Sequential Defibrillation (DSD). If DSD can increase survival among all patients in VF that dont respond to one defibrillation, i.e. before it has become refractory is not known.\n\nThe aim of this trial is to assess survival with a double defibrillation strategy initiated as soon as possible among patients with Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest with initial shockable rhythm and at least one failed standard defibrillation, compared with continued resuscitation using standard defibrillation.",[28,29,30,31,32,33],"Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest","Ventricular Fibrillation","Defibrillation","CPR","ACLS","Sudden Death",[35,36,32],"Double sequential defibrillation","Double sequential external defibrillation","RECRUITING","2026-02-12",{"date":40,"type":41},"2026-02-17","ACTUAL",{"date":43,"type":41},"2025-09-08",{"date":45,"type":21},"2029-12",{"name":47,"class":48},"Gabriel Riva","OTHER",14,{"id":51,"slug":52,"hasResults":11,"nctId":53,"briefTitle":54,"officialTitle":55,"acronym":56,"eligibilityCriteria":57,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":18,"maxAge":58,"enrollmentInfo":59,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":61,"briefSummary":63,"conditions":64,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":67,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":68,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":69,"startDateStruct":71,"completionDateStruct":73,"leadSponsor":75,"locationsCount":4},"100612841","the-effectiveness-of-continuous-compression-synchronous-ventilation-bio-cpr-100612841","NCT07258823","the Effectiveness of Continuous Compression-synchronous Ventilation (Bio-CPR)","Study on the Effectiveness of Continuous Compression-synchronous Ventilation (Bio-CPR) in the ACLS Stage of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (ACLS) Based on the Bionic Concept to Explore the Best Mechanical Ventilation Strategy","Bio-CPR","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n1. 18-65 years old; 2.
