The study is monocentric, conducted at Clinique Saint Vincent in France, and includes 550 participants.\n\nParticipants will be followed for 28 days, while the overall study duration will span 28 months.\n\nTo participate, individuals must:\n\nBe aged 18 or older. Be affiliated with a social security system. Provide signed informed consent. Undergo proctologic surgery for hemorrhoids, fistulas, or anal fissures. Traditionally its been done in general anesthesia after the swelling has been localised its been drained with a knife. After surgical intervention complications can occur with recidivism, chronic fistulas that go from the anal to the skin and sometimes the anal sphincter is damaged which can cause problems with incontinence.\n\nThrough ultrasound the abscess is opened under more controlled forms with a better visual overview. This is a new technique that has not been tested in larger studies.
