These measurements are performed using ultrasound (USG) and correlated with cadaveric data.\n\nKey research questions addressed include:\n\n* Can the start and end points of the adductor canal be formulated along a line drawn between the ASIS and the adductor tubercle?\n* Is there a definable relationship between the block application site and anatomical landmarks such as the vastoadductor membrane (VAM), the apex of the femoral triangle, and other adjacent structures that facilitates localization?\n\nBy validating ultrasound measurements with cadaveric findings, the study aims to provide researchers with a more predictable and reliable method for determining the optimal site for adductor canal block administration.",[25,26],"Anatomy","Adductor Canal Block",[28,29,30],"ASIS","ADDUCTOR CANAL","BLOCK","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2025-11-22",{"date":34,"type":35},"2025-11-25","ACTUAL",{"date":34,"type":21},{"date":38,"type":21},"2026-02-01",{"name":40,"class":41},"Ankara Etlik City Hospital","OTHER_GOV",1,{"id":44,"slug":45,"hasResults":11,"nctId":46,"briefTitle":47,"officialTitle":48,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":49,"healthyVolunteers":50,"sex":51,"minAge":4,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":52,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":4,"briefSummary":54,"conditions":55,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":58,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":59,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":60,"startDateStruct":62,"completionDateStruct":64,"leadSponsor":66,"locationsCount":42},"100602500","placental-characteristics-within-monochorionic-twin-pregnancies-100602500","NCT07124312","Placental Characteristics Within Monochorionic Twin Pregnancies","Placental Characteristics Within Monochorionic Twin Pregnancies: a Prospective Cohort Study.","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n• All consecutive placentas of monochorionic twin pregnancies whereby the placenta is transferred to the pathology department for analysis.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Singleton, dichorionic and higher order pregnancies (e.g. triplet).\n* Fetus with known major congenital anomalies or aneuploidy",true,"FEMALE",{"count":53,"type":21},65,"This prospective study aims to collate a comprehensive database of all main monochorionic twin groups to enable comparisons to be made within each twin group and additionally between each group with regards to several placental characteristics, whilst understanding their impact on several fetal outcomes. This study aims to provide new insights in to how the placental architecture influences pregnancy care within the UK pregnancy cohort. Results of this study may impact how clinicians conduct antenatal surveillance for these anatomical placental factors.\n\nPatients of both uncomplicated and complication monochorionic twin groups will be consented at a single site and recruited during the antenatal period. Following delivery the placenta will then be analysed macroscopically and assessed for several anatomical features. The research findings indicate that breast development generally follows a growth pattern from anterior to posterior, and from central to peripheral regions. However, an intriguing phenomenon contradicting this developmental process was discovered through endoscopic mastectomy, which has not been previously discussed. Based on the aforementioned theoretical analysis, this study includes patients who underwent endoscopic and reduction mammaplasty in the Department of Breast Surgery in the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. The investigators proposed the following research framework: firstly, comprehensively understanding the structure of the breast fascia and the sequence of breast development through endoscope and existing research; secondly, exploring the relationship between breast fascia development and surgical processes by repeatedly observing surgical videos of endoscopic mastectomy and reduction mammaplasty; lastly, proposing a reverse development theory for breast fascia based on these theories in order to provide standardized and procedural guidance for breast surgeons.",[102,25],"Breast Disease","2024-11-06",{"date":105,"type":35},"2024-11-07",{"date":107,"type":35},"2019-06-01",{"date":109,"type":21},"2024-12-30",{"name":111,"class":112},"Haiyan Li","OTHER"]
