The main question it aims to answer is:\n\nTo demonstrate whether Adductor Canal Block or Genicular Nerve Block is more effective in postoperative analgesia in patients undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery based on pain scores, opioid consumption and patient satisfaction.\n\nArthroscopic knee surgeries cause severe pain especially with movement in the post-operative period. After surgery, the movements of the participants are severely restricted because of pain, which increases the possibility of complications and postpones post-operative knee exercises. In this study, the participants' pain status, VAS score, opioid consumption and patient satisfaction will be measured with a simple scoring system for 24 hours at predetermined time points and then compared. Both types of blocks have pain-relieving effects. This study will only investigate which one is more effective in reducing pain, and there will be no deficiency in relieving the pain of the participants.",[28,29,30],"Opioid Use","Pain Postoperative","Arthroscopic Knee Surgeries",[32,33,34,35],"Genicular Nerve Block","Arthroscopic Knee Surgery","Adductor Canal Block","Postoperative Analgesia","RECRUITING","2025-03-27",{"date":39,"type":40},"2025-04-04","ACTUAL",{"date":42,"type":40},"2025-03-10",{"date":44,"type":22},"2025-09-30",{"name":46,"class":47},"Başakşehir Çam & Sakura City Hospital","OTHER_GOV",1,{"id":50,"slug":51,"hasResults":11,"nctId":52,"briefTitle":53,"officialTitle":54,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":55,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":56,"maxAge":57,"enrollmentInfo":58,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":23,"phases":60,"briefSummary":61,"conditions":62,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":36,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":65,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":66,"startDateStruct":68,"completionDateStruct":69,"leadSponsor":71,"locationsCount":48},"100577755","effect-of-continuous-adductor-canal-block-versus-continuous-adductor-canal-block-with-additional-infiltration-between-the-popliteal-artery-and-capsule-of-the-knee-ipack-after-arthroscopic-knee-surgeries-100577755","NCT06802419","Effect of Continuous Adductor Canal Block Versus Continuous Adductor Canal Block With Additional Infiltration Between The Popliteal Artery and Capsule of The Knee (IPACK) After Arthroscopic Knee Surgeries","A Comparative Study Between the Effect of Continuous Adductor Canal Block Versus Continuous Adductor Canal Block With Additional Infiltration Between The Popliteal Artery and Capsule of The Knee (IPACK) After Arthroscopic Knee Surgeries","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Age from 21 to 65 years.\n* Both sexes.\n* American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status Class I to II.\n* Patients with successful spinal anesthesia.\n* Patients scheduled for elective arthroscopic knee surgery for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) repair.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Declining to give written informed consent.\n* History of allergy to the medications used in the study.\n* Contraindications to regional anesthesia (including coagulopathy and local infection).\n* Polytrauma patients having lower limb fractures.\n* Patients with pre-existing myopathy or neuropathy on the operating limb.\n* Patients with diabetes mellitus.\n* Psychiatric disorder.\n* Morbid obesity \\[body mass index (BMI) \\> 45kg\u002Fm2\\].\n* Complicated Surgery.","21 Years","65 Years",{"count":59,"type":22},70,[25],"This study aims to evaluate the effect of Continuous Adductor Canal Block only versus adding posterior knee block, known as the Infiltration between the Popliteal Artery and Capsule of the Knee (IPACK) block with Continuous Adductor Canal Block (CACB) after arthroscopic knee surgeries.",[63,64,30],"Continuous Adductor Canal Block","Infiltration Between The Popliteal Artery and Capsule of The Knee","2025-01-30",{"date":67,"type":40},"2025-01-31",{"date":65,"type":40},{"date":70,"type":22},"2025-10-01",{"name":72,"class":73},"Ain Shams University","OTHER"]
