While the surgery often reduces pain and improves joint alignment, many patients still have problems with balance and movement afterward.\n\nThis study will explore whether adding balance training using the Tecnobody ProKin system to standard physical therapy helps patients recover better after TKA. The researchers will measure balance, walking ability, leg strength, and body awareness (also called proprioception) using special equipment.\n\nThe main goal is to test the hypothesis that technology-supported balance training improves recovery outcomes more effectively than standard rehabilitation alone.",[26,27,28,29],"Knee Osteoarthritis","Total Knee Arthroplasty Recovery","Postoperative Rehabilitation","Balance Training",[31,32,33,34,35,36,37],"Total Knee Arthroplasty","Muscle Strength","Proprioception","Gait","balance training","Static Balance","Dynamic Balance","RECRUITING","2025-07-20",{"date":41,"type":42},"2025-07-23","ACTUAL",{"date":44,"type":42},"2025-05-01",{"date":46,"type":20},"2027-05-01",{"name":48,"class":49},"Ankara Etlik City Hospital","OTHER_GOV",1,{"id":52,"slug":53,"hasResults":11,"nctId":54,"briefTitle":55,"officialTitle":55,"acronym":56,"eligibilityCriteria":57,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":58,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":59,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":21,"phases":61,"briefSummary":62,"conditions":63,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":38,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":85,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":86,"startDateStruct":88,"completionDateStruct":90,"leadSponsor":92,"locationsCount":5},"100493872","the-save-project-sarcopenia-and-vertigo-in-aging-patients-with-colorectal-cancer-100493872","NCT05710809","The SaVe Project-Sarcopenia and Vertigo in Aging Patients With Colorectal Cancer","SaVe","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Meet the criteria of the oncological departments of receiving neoadjuvant, adjuvant or first line palliative chemotherapy for colorectal cancer\n* ≥65 years of age at the time of signing the informed consent form\n* Able to speak and read Danish, and to provide a signed informed consent form\n* Have an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status score of ≤2\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Chemotherapy treatment within two years and sequelae of neuropathy, or symptoms of dizziness or vertigo, or balance disturbance\n* Severe physical disability that hinders physical exercise\n* Dementia, psychotic disorders, or other cognitive diseases or conditions that hinder participation in a clinical exercise-based trial\n* Inability to sign informed content\n* Patients who have had a consultation in the geriatric outpatient clinic within the past six months","65 Years",{"count":60,"type":20},150,[23],"The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about the cause of dizziness and decline in walking ability in in older adults ≥65 years during chemotherapy treatment for colorectal cancer.
