The study focuses on individualized care, which means nursing care that is tailored specifically to each person's unique needs, values, and lifestyle.\n\nBackground:\n\nCancer treatment often involves chemotherapy (medicine used to kill cancer cells). While these treatments help fight the disease, they can also cause side effects like nausea or tiredness, which affect daily life. Nurses play a key role in helping people manage these effects. This research aims to understand how \"individualized care\" helps participants feel valued and supported during their treatment journey.\n\nThe study aims to answer these key questions:\n\nHow do participants describe their experiences with nursing care?\n\nWhat are the specific needs and expectations of these individuals for care that feels personal to them?\n\nHow does personalized care affect their ability to manage symptoms and follow their treatment plan?\n\nScope and Setting:\n\nThis study will take place at the Yalova Training and Research Hospital within the Outpatient Chemotherapy Unit. The research will be conducted between May 1, 2026, and April 1, 2027.\n\nMethod and Participants:\n\nThe researchers plan to interview 10 to 20 participants who are over 18 years old and receiving treatment at the clinic. The final number of participants will be decided when the researchers find that no new information or themes are being discovered in the interviews (a stage called \"data saturation\").\n\nParticipants will:\n\nTake part in a private, one-on-one interview with a researcher.\n\nAnswer open-ended questions about their thoughts and feelings regarding their nursing care.\n\nAllow the interview to be voice-recorded to ensure all information is captured accurately.\n\nSpend approximately 30 to 45 minutes sharing their personal experiences.\n\nPrivacy and Ethics:\n\nParticipant privacy is a top priority. All personal information and voice recordings will be kept strictly confidential. In the final report, fake names (aliases) will be used so that no one can be identified. Participants can choose to leave the study at any time. The study follows international ethical rules to protect the rights of every participant.",[23,24,25],"Cancer Patients","Care","Chemotherapy",[27,28,29,30],"Individualized Care","Outpatient Chemotherapy","Patient Perception","Nursing Care","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-04-20",{"date":34,"type":35},"2026-04-23","ACTUAL",{"date":37,"type":19},"2026-05-01",{"date":39,"type":19},"2027-04-01",{"name":41,"class":42},"University of Yalova","OTHER",1,{"id":45,"slug":46,"hasResults":11,"nctId":47,"briefTitle":48,"officialTitle":48,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":49,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":15,"minAge":50,"maxAge":51,"enrollmentInfo":52,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":54,"phases":55,"briefSummary":57,"conditions":58,"keywords":60,"overallStatus":31,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":67,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":68,"startDateStruct":70,"completionDateStruct":72,"leadSponsor":74,"locationsCount":43},"100609114","the-effects-of-listening-to-fairy-tales-listening-to-fairy-tales-in-their-mothers-voices-and-watching-cartoons-on-pain-comfort-levels-and-physiological-parameters-during-tracheostomy-care-in-a-palliative-care-clinic-100609114","NCT07210346","The Effects of Listening to Fairy Tales, Listening to Fairy Tales in Their Mothers' Voices, and Watching Cartoons on Pain, Comfort Levels, and Physiological Parameters During Tracheostomy Care in a Palliative Care Clinic","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Being in the 1-7 year old age group,\n* Being inpatient in a pediatric palliative care unit,\n* Having no visual or hearing abnormalities,\n* Having a tracheostomy.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* The family's desire to withdraw from the study,\n* The child's health condition deteriorates.","1 Year","7 Years",{"count":53,"type":19},17,"INTERVENTIONAL",[56],"NA","This study aimed to determine the effects of listening to fairy tales, listening to fairy tales from the mother's voice, and watching cartoons on pain, comfort, and physiological parameters during tracheostomy care of children receiving palliative care.",[59,24],"Tracheostomy",[61,62,63,64,65,66],"Palliative care","Children","Listening to stories","Watching Cartoons","Pain","Comfort","2025-09-29",{"date":69,"type":35},"2025-10-07",{"date":71,"type":19},"2025-11-01",{"date":73,"type":19},"2026-01-01",{"name":75,"class":42},"Ataturk University",{"id":77,"slug":78,"hasResults":11,"nctId":79,"briefTitle":80,"officialTitle":81,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":82,"healthyVolunteers":83,"sex":15,"minAge":16,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":84,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":54,"phases":86,"briefSummary":87,"conditions":88,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":31,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":92,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":93,"startDateStruct":95,"completionDateStruct":97,"leadSponsor":99,"locationsCount":4},"100603602","effect-of-the-aspiration-care-bundle-on-preventing-vap-100603602","NCT07138651","Effect of the Aspiration Care Bundle on Preventing VAP","Yoğun Bakım Hastalarına Uygulanan Aspirasyon Bakım Paketinin Ventilatör İlişkili Pnömoni Gelişimini Önlemeye Etkisi: Yarı Deneysel Çalışma","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients admitted to the pulmonary intensive care unit\n* Aged 18 years or older\n* Connected to mechanical ventilation via ETT\u002FTT\n* Glasgow Coma Scale score: 8 or higher\n* Remaining in the intensive care unit for at least 24 hours\n* Patients who have not previously been diagnosed with ventilator-associated pneumonia will be included in the study.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Transferred from the pulmonary intensive care unit to another clinic\n* Diagnosed with ventilator-associated pneumonia within the first 24 hours\n* Glasgow Coma Scale score fell below 8 during the study\n* Deceased at the time of data collection\n* Patients who developed any complications related to aspiration (atelectasis, hypoxemia, bradypnea, etc.) prior to the study will be excluded from the study.",true,{"count":85,"type":19},60,[56],"Many pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions are used to prevent ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP). Nurses are directly responsible for implementing non-pharmacological interventions and therefore have an important role in preventing VAP. The most important non-pharmacological nursing interventions to prevent VAP are hand hygiene and oral care. In addition, the head of the bed should be elevated to 30°-45°, head pressure should be monitored, and subglottic aspiration should be performed. Various care packages have been developed to prevent VAP. It has been determined that these care packages reduce the incidence of VAP.
