Based on the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events during the 3-year follow-up period, the correlation between the vulnerability of carotid plaques and the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events was explored. Furthermore, a cardiovascular and cerebrovascular risk prediction model for patients with plaques was established by combining multi-dimensional data indicators such as patients\\' clinical data and ultrasonic multimodal imaging data, forming a risk warning tool suitable for clinical use and providing a reference for risk management in patients with carotid artery plaques.\n\nResearch Objectives：\n\n1. To establish a plaque vulnerability assessment model based on ultrasonic imaging indicators of plaques, clinical indicators of patients, and laboratory indicators.\n2. To establish a cardiovascular and cerebrovascular risk prediction model for patients with carotid plaques by combining clinical indicators of patients and ultrasonic multimodal imaging data.\n3. To screen ultrasonic imaging indicators for predicting cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events.",[25,53,54],"Ischemic Stroke","Cardiovascular Events","2024-12-03",{"date":57,"type":30},"2024-12-06",{"date":59,"type":30},"2024-07-01",{"date":61,"type":20},"2027-12-31",{"name":63,"class":37},"Shanghai General Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine",{"id":65,"slug":66,"hasResults":11,"nctId":67,"briefTitle":68,"officialTitle":69,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":70,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":17,"maxAge":71,"enrollmentInfo":72,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":74,"phases":75,"briefSummary":77,"conditions":78,"keywords":81,"overallStatus":85,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":86,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":87,"startDateStruct":89,"completionDateStruct":91,"leadSponsor":93,"locationsCount":4},"100561171","phase-4-effect-of-small-interfering-rna-inclisiran-on-carotid-plaques-as-assessed-by-carotid-ultrasound-100561171","NCT06586684","Effect of Small Interfering RNA Inclisiran on Carotid Plaques As Assessed by Carotid Ultrasound","The Effect of Small Interfering RNA Inclisiran on Carotid Plaques in Patients with Atherosclerosis: a Real-world Study Using Carotid Ultrasound.","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients with carotid plaques as indicated by ultrasound\n* Men and women aged 18-75 years;\n* LDL-C \\>3.4 mmol\u002FL without regular statin therapy or LDL-C \\>1.8 mmol\u002FL after 4 weeks of statin lipid-lowering therapy.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* \\- Known allergies or contraindications to PCSK9 inhibitors and\u002For statin therapy;\n* Prior use of PCSK9 inhibitors;\n* Prior history of hemorrhagic stroke;\n* Prior coronary artery bypass grafting or coronary intervention;\n* Inability to perform OCT imaging or unclear imaging;\n* Severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance \\< 30 mL\u002Fmin);\n* Severe hepatic dysfunction;\n* Baseline triglycerides \\> 5.6 mmol\u002FL;\n* Pregnant or lactating women;\n* Life expectancy not exceeding 1 year;\n* In the judgment of the investigator, unsuitable for this study for any reason.","75 Years",{"count":73,"type":20},40,"INTERVENTIONAL",[76],"PHASE4","Current understanding suggests that the majority of cardiovascular events are driven by vulnerable plaques. Nonetheless, the impact of PCSK9 inhibitors on the stability of carotid plaques remains insufficiently elucidated, with a notable scarcity of relevant clinical studies.
