The main questions it aims to answer are:\n\nDoes percutaneous cryoablation improve short and long term pain scores? Does percutaneous cryoablation improve short and long term respiratory mechanics? Does percutaneous cryoablation improve long term quality of life? Does percutaneous cryoablation decrease delirium?\n\nResearchers will compare cryoablation to standard multimodal pain therapy to see if this impacts respiratory recovery.\n\nParticipants will undergo randomization, percutaneous cryoablative procedure, and participate in tests at pre-determined intervals to evaluate their pulmonary recovery.",[27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34,35],"Trauma","Rib Fractures","Chest Wall Disorder","Respiratory Insufficiency","Pain, Chest","Rib Trauma","Rib Fracture Multiple","Respiratory Failure","Respiratory Distress Syndrome",[27,34,37,30,28,38,39,40,41],"Respiratory Distress","Chest Wall Trauma","Percutaneous Cryoablation","Multimodal Pain Therapy","Multimodal Pain Regimen","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-02-05",{"date":45,"type":46},"2026-02-09","ACTUAL",{"date":48,"type":21},"2026-09",{"date":50,"type":21},"2028-07",{"name":52,"class":53},"Loma Linda University","OTHER",1,{"id":56,"slug":57,"hasResults":11,"nctId":58,"briefTitle":59,"officialTitle":60,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":61,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":62,"maxAge":63,"enrollmentInfo":64,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":22,"phases":66,"briefSummary":67,"conditions":68,"keywords":71,"overallStatus":73,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":74,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":75,"startDateStruct":77,"completionDateStruct":79,"leadSponsor":81,"locationsCount":54},"100298897","addition-of-proprioceptive-neuromuscular-facilitation-to-cardio-respiratory-training-post-stroke-100298897","NCT03171012","Addition of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation to Cardio Respiratory Training Post Stroke","Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Repercussions Associated With Cardiorespiratory Training in Postal Individuals Stroke to the Functions Motor, Respiratory and Quality of Life: Randomized Controlled Trial","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Have clinical diagnosis of ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke,\n* primary for more than six months resulting in hemiparesis;\n* Have mental competence assessed through the Mini-Exam of the Mental State-MMSE;\n* Be able to walk 10 meters independently, with or without assistive device;\n* Absence of other neurological or orthopedic deficiencies unrelated to stroke;\n* Without report of associated pulmonary pathology and not be smoker or ex-smoker.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n\\-","21 Years","65 Years",{"count":65,"type":21},40,[24],"Post-stroke hemiparesis causes sequelae in the limbs and also in the trunk and abdomen structures.
