As defined by the NOVA classification, UPFs are industrial formulations of food substances added with colourings, flavourings, emulsifiers, thickeners and other additives. Among the main compounds of UPFs are the advanced glycation end-products (AGEs). Increasing evidence suggests an association between dietary exposure to AGEs and the development of chronic non-communicable diseases, such as obesity and allergies, in the general population, through increased oxidative stress and inflammation. Preliminary evidence suggests that a maternal diet rich in AGEs during pregnancy and lactation could negatively influence the composition of breast milk and have a negative impact on the infants health. However, data regarding the presence of derivatives of UPFs in breast milk are not available. The UFIM (Ultraprocessed Foods In Breast Milk) study aims at evaluate the presence of UPFs-derivatives compounds in breast milk.",[26,27,28],"Child Malnutrition","Child Allergy","Maternal Exposure","RECRUITING","2025-06-03",{"date":32,"type":33},"2025-06-04","ACTUAL",{"date":35,"type":33},"2023-05-23",{"date":37,"type":22},"2026-05-23",{"name":39,"class":40},"Federico II University","OTHER",1,{"id":43,"slug":44,"hasResults":11,"nctId":45,"briefTitle":46,"officialTitle":47,"acronym":48,"eligibilityCriteria":49,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":50,"minAge":4,"maxAge":51,"enrollmentInfo":52,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":23,"phases":4,"briefSummary":54,"conditions":55,"keywords":58,"overallStatus":29,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":63,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":64,"startDateStruct":66,"completionDateStruct":68,"leadSponsor":70,"locationsCount":41},"100564885","observatory-of-the-lille-paediatric-allergy-unit-100564885","NCT06634992","Observatory of the Lille Paediatric Allergy Unit","Paediatric Observatory of Oral Food Tolerance Induction in the Allergy Department of the Saint-Vincent de Paul Hospital in Lille","PAUL","Inclusion criteria:\n\n* patient under 15 years and 9 months,\n* positive diagnosis of food allergy (positive food challenge test or \"highly probable allergy\", defined by a convincing history, a positive prick test and IgE \\> 0.35 kUA\u002FL),\n* eligible for oral food challenge\n* accepting the following allergens : hazelnut, walnut, pistachio, cashew, peanut, cow's milk, wheat, egg, sesame, celery, fenugreek, pea, lentils or others\n\nExclusion criteria:\n\n* Opposition\n* Already received oral challenge for the same allergen.","ALL","16 Years",{"count":53,"type":22},1000,"The goal of this study is to set up a paediatric observatory within the allergology department of The saint Vincent Hospital, Lille.
