Children and adolescents with complex chronic conditions (CCC) often have ongoing and multiple health problems. These children often face a high risk of sleep problems, but there are no screening tools in Turkish designed specifically for them.\n\nThe main goal is to confirm that the Turkish version of the SCAC is accurate and reliable. The study will also look at how common different types of sleep problems are in children with CCC, and how these problems are related to factors such as diagnosis, age, sex, and other medical conditions.\n\nAnother goal is to compare children's sleep at home with their sleep during a stay in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). The study will also examine how environmental factors (such as light and noise) and medical factors (such as pain, medications, and devices) affect sleep in the hospital. After discharge, sleep recovery will be followed for up to 3 months using sleep diaries and actigraphy (a wearable device that measures movement during sleep).",[26,27,28,29],"Chronic Conditions","Pediatric Intensive Care","Sleep Disorder (Disorder)","Sleep",[31,32,33,34,35],"sleep","sleep disorder","child","chronic disease","actigraphy","RECRUITING","2026-04-16",{"date":39,"type":40},"2026-04-17","ACTUAL",{"date":42,"type":40},"2026-03-12",{"date":44,"type":22},"2027-06",{"name":46,"class":47},"Marmara University","OTHER",1,{"id":50,"slug":51,"hasResults":11,"nctId":52,"briefTitle":53,"officialTitle":54,"acronym":55,"eligibilityCriteria":56,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":17,"minAge":57,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":58,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":60,"phases":61,"briefSummary":63,"conditions":64,"keywords":65,"overallStatus":71,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":72,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":73,"startDateStruct":75,"completionDateStruct":77,"leadSponsor":79,"locationsCount":4},"100626394","nursing-led-frailty-prevention-and-care-100626394","NCT07435064","NURsing-led FRAILty Prevention and Care","NURsing-led FRAILty Prevention and Care: a Quasi-experimental Study","NUR-FRAIL","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Presence of at least one positive indicator on the SUNFRAIL questionnaire\n* Age 65 years or older\n* At least one chronic condition\n* Poor self-care abilities, defined as a score of 0, 1, or 2 on at least two items of the Self-Care of Chronic Illness Inventory\n\nExclusion criteria:\n\n\\- Not able to provide information on questionnaires","65 Years",{"count":59,"type":22},200,"INTERVENTIONAL",[62],"NA","The goal of this quasi-experimental study is to learn if a nurse-led care program can help prevent or manage frailty in older adults living in the community.\n\nThe study focuses on people aged 65 years and older who have at least one chronic condition, show early signs of frailty, and have difficulty with self-care.\n\nThe main questions it aims to answer are:\n\n* Does the nurse-led NUR-FRAIL program improve participants' ability to care for their chronic conditions after six months?\n* Does the program improve quality of life and reduce health-related difficulties?\n* Does the program lower emergency department visits and hospital stays over one year?\n\nResearchers will compare participants who receive the NUR-FRAIL program with participants who receive usual care to see if the program leads to better self-care, better quality of life, and less use of hospital services.\n\nParticipants will:\n\n* Meet with a Family and Community Nurse for health and frailty assessments at the start of the study, after three months, and after six months\n* Complete short questionnaires about self-care, daily functioning, and quality of life\n* Receive either usual care or a three-month nurse-led program that includes personalized education, goal setting, lifestyle advice, and support for managing chronic conditions\n* Allow researchers to collect information about emergency visits and hospital stays for up to twelve months\n\nSome participants in the nurse-led group will also be invited to take part in an interview to share their experience with the program.",[26],[66,67,68,69,70],"frailty","chronic conditions","nursing","primary care","community nursing","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-02-19",{"date":74,"type":40},"2026-02-27",{"date":76,"type":22},"2026-03-01",{"date":78,"type":22},"2027-03-30",{"name":80,"class":47},"University of Padova"]
