The main questions it aims to answer are:\n\nDoes core stabilization training improve abdominal endurance as measured by the Prone Bridge Test? Does this training enhance knee stability as measured by the Lateral Squat Down, Y-Balance Test, and Drop Vertical Jump?\n\nResearchers will compare participants' results before and after the intervention to see whether the training program leads to measurable improvements in strength and stability.\n\nParticipants will:\n\nComplete baseline testing of abdominal strength and knee stability using standardized assessments (Prone Bridge Test, Lateral Squat Down, Y-Balance Test, Drop Vertical Jump) recorded with a Vicon motion-capture system.\n\nPerform an 8-week supervised core stabilization program that includes front plank, side plank, and Nordic hamstring exercises following a structured progression.\n\nComplete the same performance tests again after the intervention.",[28,29],"Core Strength","Knee Stability",[31,29,32,33],"Core Stability","Injury Prevention","Biomechanics","RECRUITING","2026-03-25",{"date":37,"type":38},"2026-03-30","ACTUAL",{"date":40,"type":38},"2026-03-06",{"date":42,"type":22},"2026-09",{"name":44,"class":45},"European University of Madrid","OTHER",1,{"id":48,"slug":49,"hasResults":11,"nctId":50,"briefTitle":51,"officialTitle":52,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":53,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":54,"minAge":18,"maxAge":55,"enrollmentInfo":56,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":23,"phases":58,"briefSummary":59,"conditions":60,"keywords":66,"overallStatus":34,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":73,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":74,"startDateStruct":76,"completionDateStruct":78,"leadSponsor":80,"locationsCount":46},"100628855","effectiveness-of-pilates-on-postural-correction-core-strength-and-flexibility-in-younger-individuals-with-non-specific-low-backache-100628855","NCT07467070","Effectiveness of Pilates on Postural Correction, Core Strength and Flexibility in Younger Individuals With Non-specific Low Backache","Effects of Pilates on Postural Correction, Core Strength and Flexibility in Young Individuals With Non-Specific Low Backache","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Age 18-25\n* Non-specific low backache of pain severity less than and equal to 5\u002F10 on Brief Pain Inventory Scale\n* Ability to attend complete six-week program\n* Both genders\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* prior history of trauma, fracture, spinal stenosis, severe comorbidities, spinal surgery and neurological disorders\n* Individuals suffering from specific causes of low backache like Infection and pregnancy","ALL","25 Years",{"count":57,"type":22},50,[25],"The aim of this clinical trial is to study the effects of Pilates intervention versus conventional therapy on postural correction, core strength and flexibility in young individuals with complaint of non-specific low backache. Participants of age 18-25 years and with complaint of non-specific low backache will be recruited. 50 participants will be enrolled. Participants will perform Pilates and conventional therapy for 3 times per week for six weeks. Participants will be randomly allocated to two groups and assessor blinding will be done to take baseline assessment. Assessor blinding is done to minimize biasness.
