We hypothesize that personalized risk disclosure via the PRE-Crohn's educational tool is both feasible and successful in modifying behaviors associated with Crohn's disease risk and normalizing pre-clinical disease biomarkers when compared to standard Crohn's disease education. Broadly, completion of this project will also help elucidate the role of lifestyle and dietary factors in pre-clinical Crohn's disease development in high-risk individuals, and provide novel insight into potential strategies for disease prevention in this population.",[26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33],"Inflammatory Bowel Diseases","Crohn Disease","Crohn Colitis","Crohn's Ileocolitis","Crohn's Gastritis","Crohn's Jejunitis","Crohn's Duodenitis","Crohn's Esophagitis",[35],"Crohn's disease","RECRUITING","2026-01-29",{"date":39,"type":40},"2026-01-30","ACTUAL",{"date":42,"type":40},"2025-10-03",{"date":44,"type":20},"2027-11",{"name":46,"class":47},"Massachusetts General Hospital","OTHER",1,{"id":50,"slug":51,"hasResults":11,"nctId":52,"briefTitle":53,"officialTitle":54,"acronym":55,"eligibilityCriteria":56,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":57,"maxAge":58,"enrollmentInfo":59,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":61,"phases":4,"briefSummary":62,"conditions":63,"keywords":66,"overallStatus":36,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":71,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":72,"startDateStruct":74,"completionDateStruct":76,"leadSponsor":78,"locationsCount":48},"100558739","investigation-of-vap-1-expression-and-tissue-blood-flow-by-pet-mri-in-patients-with-crohns-disease-100558739","NCT06555042","Investigation of VAP-1 Expression and Tissue Blood Flow by PET-MRI in Patients With Crohn's Disease","Investigation of VAP-1 Expression and Tissue Blood Flow by Combined [68Ga]DOTA-Siglec-9 and [15O]H2O PET-MRI in Patients With Small Bowel's Crohn's Disease","VAP-PET","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Adults between age 18-70\n* Strong clinical suspicion of small bowel Crohn's disease\n* Able and willing to give written informed consent and to comply with the study protocol\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Pregnant or breast-feeding women\n* Previous capsule retention\n* X-ray investigations during preceding year\n* Patients with metallic implants such as an electronic pacemaker or an implanted infusion pump\n* Known stenosis of the GI-tract\n* Evidence of significant uncontrolled concomitant diseases such as neurological, renal, hepatic, endocrine, or gastrointestinal disorders which, in the opinion of the Investigator, would preclude patient participation\n* Is unable or unwilling to comply with the study protocol for any reason","18 Years","70 Years",{"count":60,"type":20},20,"OBSERVATIONAL","This is an observational, single center, imaging study.
