The current average age of diagnosis is around 25 to 30 years depending on the studies. Currently, the diagnostic criteria are based on the ENT, neurological and opthalmological manifestations of the disease. Cutaneous manifestations have been described in these patients. Except now, mucocutaneous manifestations of the disease are not taken into account for depisatage or diagnosis.\n\nThe purpose of this study would be to identify the different cutaneous and mucosal manifestations in a pediatric population under 15 years of age, and to analyze whether this might be of interest in early detection of the disease in association with other symptoms.",[25,26],"Neurofibromatosis 2","Dermatology\u002FSkin - Other","RECRUITING","2026-06-25",{"date":30,"type":31},"2026-06-29","ACTUAL",{"date":33,"type":31},"2019-01-01",{"date":35,"type":21},"2027-06-25",{"name":37,"class":38},"Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice","OTHER",1,{"id":41,"slug":42,"hasResults":11,"nctId":43,"briefTitle":44,"officialTitle":45,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":46,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":4,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":47,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":49,"phases":50,"briefSummary":52,"conditions":53,"keywords":56,"overallStatus":27,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":62,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":63,"startDateStruct":65,"completionDateStruct":67,"leadSponsor":69,"locationsCount":39},"100571774","application-of-the-belleai-dermatological-image-reference-system-for-patient-diagnosis-in-an-active-clinical-setting-100571774","NCT06724627","Application of the Belle.AI Dermatological Image Reference System for Patient Diagnosis in an Active Clinical Setting","Application of the Belle.AI Dermatological Image Reference System on Patient Diagnosis Within an Active Clinical Setting","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patient must present to walk-in clinic with a primary dermatological complaint.\n* Patient must have the ability and willingness to provide informed consent and comply with study procedures and visits.\n* Participants must have access to the required technology (e.g., smartphone with internet access) and be capable of using it for the required image capture.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients who are unable to comply with study procedures due to physical or mental health limitations (as assessed by study coordinator).\n* Pediatric, adolescent, and teen patients who present with dermatological conditions on their genitalia will not be included in the study (in support of patient privacy concerns).",{"count":48,"type":21},263,"INTERVENTIONAL",[51],"NA","The goal of this research study is to test a new, investigational tool that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help primary care providers assess skin conditions. This tool is an AI-powered dermatology image reference app that works with a smartphone. For clarity, the AI makes no diagnoses; it provides reference images. Primary care providers then use their own medical judgement and training to make the diagnosis.\n\nThe sponsor aims to compare the diagnoses made by primary care providers (such as doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants) with the support of the AI tool compared to a panel of dermatologists, who are setting the gold standard. By doing so, the sponsor can determine the value of the AI tool for primary care providers and understand how it might be used alongside traditional clinical care.\n\nThis AI capability complies with FDA regulatory guidelines and is not considered a medical device, similar to a Google image search, which returns similar looking images for reference purposes. For intervention, they healthcare providers use their own training and clinical judgement to make the diagnosis, and not the AI.",[54,55,26],"Skin Condition","Dermatology",[57,58,59,60,55,61],"AI","Artificial Intelligence","Digital Health","Health Equity","Skin Health","2024-12-05",{"date":64,"type":31},"2024-12-09",{"date":66,"type":31},"2024-09-16",{"date":68,"type":21},"2025-06-30",{"name":70,"class":71},"BelleTorus Corporation","INDUSTRY"]
