The study will assess the program's impact on diabetic foot knowledge, foot care self-efficacy, foot care behaviors, and foot health outcomes.\n\nThe research will be conducted between April and October 2026 at a university hospital diabetes outpatient clinic in İzmir, Türkiye. A total of 70 participants diagnosed with Type II DM will be enrolled and randomly assigned to either the intervention group (n=35) or the control group (n=35) using stratified block randomization.\n\nParticipants in the intervention group will receive the Virtual Reality-Based \"Health to My Foot\" program through virtual reality goggles and will have access to a recorded foot care training video for home use. They will also receive weekly motivational reminder messages for three months. The control group will receive standard outpatient care only.\n\nData will be collected at baseline (pre-test), 1 month (post-test), and 3 months (follow-up) using validated scales and a nurse follow-up form to evaluate knowledge, self-efficacy, behaviors, and clinical foot health indicators. The findings are expected to contribute to sustainable patient education strategies and to support the prevention of diabetic foot complications and reduction of healthcare costs.",[26,27,28,29],"Diabetic Foot - Telemedical Monitoring","Diabetic","Foot Care","Virtual Reality",[31,32,29,33,34],"Diabetic foot","Foot care","nursing","nursing care","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2026-03-10",{"date":38,"type":39},"2026-03-16","ACTUAL",{"date":41,"type":20},"2026-04-16",{"date":43,"type":20},"2026-07-30",{"name":45,"class":46},"Ege University","OTHER",{"id":48,"slug":49,"hasResults":11,"nctId":50,"briefTitle":51,"officialTitle":52,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":53,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":54,"maxAge":4,"enrollmentInfo":55,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":21,"phases":57,"briefSummary":58,"conditions":59,"keywords":62,"overallStatus":35,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":67,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":68,"startDateStruct":70,"completionDateStruct":72,"leadSponsor":74,"locationsCount":4},"100613831","the-effect-of-laughter-yoga-in-type-2-diabetes-patients-100613831","NCT07271706","The Effect of Laughter Yoga in Type 2 Diabetes Patients","The Effect of Laughter Yoga on Self-management and Comfort in Type 2 Diabetes Patients","Inclusion Criteria\n\n* Diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes\n* Age 18 years or older\n* Willingness to participate in the Laughter Yoga intervention\n* Ability to read and comprehend Turkish\n\nExclusion Criteria\n\n* Diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes\n* Participation in individual psychotherapy or group-based psychological intervention programs\n* Experience of a recent loss within the past month (e.g., death, divorce)\n* Presence of any psychiatric diagnosis\n* Use of psychiatric medication\n* Severe visual or hearing impairment preventing active participation in the intervention\n* Pregnancy or breastfeeding\n* Limitations in reading or comprehending Turkish","18 Months",{"count":56,"type":20},80,[23],"The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of laughter yoga on self-management skills and comfort levels in patients with Type 2 diabetes.",[27,60,61],"Laughter Yoga","Comfort",[63,64,65,66],"laughter yoga","diabetic","comfort","self-governance","2025-12-06",{"date":69,"type":39},"2025-12-09",{"date":71,"type":20},"2025-12-15",{"date":73,"type":20},"2026-01-25",{"name":75,"class":46},"Bozok University",{"id":77,"slug":78,"hasResults":11,"nctId":79,"briefTitle":80,"officialTitle":80,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":81,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":82,"maxAge":83,"enrollmentInfo":84,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":86,"phases":4,"briefSummary":87,"conditions":88,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":35,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":89,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":90,"startDateStruct":92,"completionDateStruct":94,"leadSponsor":96,"locationsCount":4},"100578740","the-role-of-perirenal-fat-as-predictor-in-diabetic-nephropathy-100578740","NCT06815224","The Role of Perirenal Fat As Predictor in Diabetic Nephropathy","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n\\- Patients with T2DM aged 18-70 were included in this study.
