However, scientific publications on this method in heart patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) are still scarce, justifying the need to carry out this study for information, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment purposes in the health area with an emphasis on cardiology.\n\nObjective: To evaluate whether diaphragmatic ultrasound findings differ between the TAR method and conventional physiotherapy in post-CABG patients.\n\nMethods: This is a randomized, single-blind clinical trial. Adults (\\>35 years), hemodynamically stable, who underwent CABG (\\\u003C24 hours) and had a prescription for physiotherapy will be included. Patients will be randomized into two groups: 1) intervention group \\[IG\\] - TAR; 2) control group \\[CG\\] - standard physiotherapy approach. Interventions will be performed at a single time and the following variables will be collected pre- and post-intervention: heart rate (HR), respiratory rate (RR), peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2), mean arterial pressure (MAP), diaphragmatic ultrasound (US) to identify possible acute findings in both groups, respiratory distress scale and pulmonary complications scale will be applied at the end of the interventions.\n\nKeywords: Physiotherapy; Cardiology; Ultrasonography",[26,27,28],"Respiratory Complications","Diaphragmatic Excursion","Pulmonary Spirometry",[30,31,32],"Physiotherapy","Ultrasonography","Cardiology","RECRUITING","2026-04-22",{"date":36,"type":37},"2026-04-27","ACTUAL",{"date":39,"type":37},"2024-09-01",{"date":41,"type":20},"2026-04",{"name":43,"class":44},"Instituto de Cardiologia do Rio Grande do Sul","OTHER",1,{"id":47,"slug":48,"hasResults":11,"nctId":49,"briefTitle":50,"officialTitle":51,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":52,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":53,"maxAge":54,"enrollmentInfo":55,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":21,"phases":57,"briefSummary":58,"conditions":59,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":33,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":65,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":66,"startDateStruct":68,"completionDateStruct":70,"leadSponsor":72,"locationsCount":45},"100599918","ultrasound-guided-interscalene-suprascapular-and-anterior-glenoid-nerve-blocks-on-diaphragmatic-excursion-and-analgesia-following-arthroscopic-shoulder-surgery-100599918","NCT07090733","Ultrasound Guided Interscalene, Suprascapular and Anterior Glenoid Nerve Blocks on Diaphragmatic Excursion and Analgesia Following Arthroscopic Shoulder Surgery","The Effect of Ultrasound Guided Interscalene, Suprascapular and Anterior Glenoid Nerve Blocks on Diaphragmatic Excursion and Analgesia Following Arthroscopic Shoulder Surgery: A Prospective Randomized Controlled Study","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Age from 21 to 65 years.\n* Both sexes.\n* American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I or II.\n* Scheduled for arthroscopic shoulder surgery.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patient's refusal to participate.\n* Patients with a history of allergy to local anesthetics.\n* Patients with a history of chronic use of painkillers.\n* Patients presented with mental dysfunction.\n* Patients with coagulation disorders.\n* Patients presented with skin or soft tissue infection at the proposed site of needle Insertion.\n* Pregnant Patients.\n* Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) or a Body Mass Index (BMI) of more than 40.","21 Years","65 Years",{"count":56,"type":20},80,[23],"This study aims to evaluate the diaphragmatic movement and postoperative analgesia following anterior glenoid, suprascapular, and interscalene nerve blocks in patients undergoing elective arthroscopic shoulder surgery.",[60,61,62,27,63,64],"Interscalene Block","Suprascapular Nerve Block","Anterior Glenoid Nerve Block","Analgesia","Arthroscopic Shoulder Surgery","2025-07-21",{"date":67,"type":37},"2025-07-29",{"date":69,"type":37},"2025-01-01",{"date":71,"type":20},"2025-12-31",{"name":73,"class":44},"Tanta University",{"id":75,"slug":76,"hasResults":11,"nctId":77,"briefTitle":78,"officialTitle":79,"acronym":4,"eligibilityCriteria":80,"healthyVolunteers":11,"sex":16,"minAge":53,"maxAge":54,"enrollmentInfo":81,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":21,"phases":83,"briefSummary":84,"conditions":85,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":33,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":89,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":90,"startDateStruct":92,"completionDateStruct":94,"leadSponsor":96,"locationsCount":45},"100598254","continuous-erector-spinae-block-versus-continuous-edge-of-laminar-block-on-the-quality-of-analgesia-and-diaphragmatic-excursion-in-patients-with-multiple-rib-fractures-100598254","NCT07069101","Continuous Erector Spinae Block Versus Continuous Edge of Laminar Block on The Quality of Analgesia and Diaphragmatic Excursion in Patients With Multiple Rib Fractures","The Effect of Continuous Erector Spinae Block Versus Continuous Edge of Laminar Block on The Quality of Analgesia and Diaphragmatic Excursion in Patients With Multiple Rib Fractures.
