Patients with pathologically proven diagnosis of NSCLC\n2. Patients with positive oncogene driver mutation (EGFR or ALK\u002FROS)\n3. Patients who have received at least 2-4 months of TKI therapy without progression\n4. Patients with 1-5 sites of metastatic disease not including the primary tumor and regional nodes (less than 3 metastatic lesions in one organ will be eligible and 4 or more metastatic lesions in one organ will be ineligible)\n5. Patients suitable for local consolidative therapy\n6. Adequate end-organ function CBC\u002Fdifferential obtained within 15 days prior to registration on study, with adequate bone marrow function defined as follows:\n\n   * Absolute neutrophil count (ANC) ≥ 500 cells\u002Fmm3;\n   * Platelets ≥ 50,000 cells\u002Fmm3;\n   * Hemoglobin ≥ 8.0 g\u002Fdl (Use of transfusion or other intervention to achieve Hgb ≥ 8.0 g\u002Fdl is acceptable);\n7. Patients with ECOG performance status of 0-2\n8. Age \\> 18 years\n9. For females of child-bearing potential, negative serum or urine pregnancy test within 14 days prior to study registration\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n1. Patients with progressive disease after 2-3 months of initial TKI therapy\n2. Patients with negative oncogene driver mutations (EGFR\u002FALK\u002FROS)\n3. Patients not suitable for local consolidative radiation therapy\n4. Patients who are not suitable for further continuation of TKI therapy due to toxicity\n5. Severe, active co-morbidity defined as follows:\n\n   * Unstable angina and\u002For congestive heart failure requiring hospitalization within the last 6 months;\n   * Transmural myocardial infarction within the last 6 months;\n   * Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease exacerbation or other respiratory illness requiring hospitalization or precluding study therapy at the time of registration;\n6. Patients with prior history of radiation therapy to thorax\n7. Patients with second malignancy (Synchronous or Metachronous)\n8. Note: Multiple first degree relatives of a Cohort A eligible participant may be approached for participation into the trial.\n* Smoked \\\u003C 20 pack years; a. Pack years = numbers of packs per day × number of years smoked; b. One pack year is the equivalent of smoking an average of 20 cigarettes (1 pack) per day for a year.\n* Be able to undergo a low dose chest CT scan.\n* If an upper respiratory infection (pneumonia, COVID19, flu, etc.) occurred in the last 3 months, this infection must have resolved by time of enrollment.\n* Able and willing to provide informed consent.\n* Able and willing to comply with the protocol requirements\n\nCohort B:\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Previous history of lung cancers.\n* Symptoms suggestive of presence of current lung cancer, including (but not limited to): unexplained weight loss of over 15 pounds within the last 12 months or unexplained hemoptysis.\n* Pregnant at time of enrollment.\n* History of any type of cancer within 5 years, with the exception of in situ carcinomas and non-melanoma skin cancers (if excised).\n* Current smoker.\n* Smoked ≥ 20 pack years.\n* Had a chest CT scan within 1 year of study entry.","80 Years",{"count":59,"type":22},1753,[61],"NA","This is a single-armed screening research study which screens immediate family member of lung cancer patients with a driver mutation to see if lung cancer can be inherited and whether researchers can find lung cancer early.
